Looking Glass Falls
Assuming its not a crazy busy day, we try to make a stop at this iconic waterfall! Yes, its not really a "secret" spot, but it really is gorgeous. (Don't worry, our other stops will be off the beaten path!)

Jeep ride was fun, hikes weren't too difficult and Bryan was great. He knew a lot about the area. I recommend this tour for young and old! I'm 70 and my grands were 7, 12 and 13 and we all had a good time. I paced myself on the hikes and was able to see all the falls with the longest hike being about 1.5 miles round trip. Even in cooler weather with highs in the mid 40s it was comfortable. We were with two other groups and enjoyed each other's company. Bryan was great with the kids and even took my 7 year old down to Looking Glass Fall. I chose to not walk down the stairs right to the fall because the older kids wanted to stay behind. The fall is on the main road and it's just a simple walk up and down stairs, so I could have easily made it. We were offered blankets for warmth, water and snacks whenever we wanted them. The heat also kept us warm. Bryan made certain everyone was comfortable and ensured our safety both in the Jeep and on the hikes. He even got us to all yeehaw and woohoo together on the gravel road section which was off the beaten path with lots of twist, turns, and spectacular views. We also went up on the Blue Ridge Parkway for the view and no one was disappointed! I'm not in the best athletic shape, but was glad I went on this tour! If I can do it I think most people could take this tour as long as you can walk and don't have any conditions that limit your balance. (I even had back surgery and shoulder replacement). So go have some fun with your kids. I give it a solid 10 out of 10!!!

This tour was excellent. Brian was a very interesting man and knowledgeable about the area. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone but especially good if you are only spending a short time in the area. We felt we saw the best of the area, and a bonus, Brian recommended a great restaurant serving great quality local food.

Well curated list of stops and reasonable time in each location (waterfalls, blue ridge parkway etc). They offer food and energy bars, which is great. Nico, our guide, was very worldly and talented. The best pisgah tour! Would recommend again and again.

Pros: *Jeep offers high seating that allows for beautiful views. *Along with our guide's considerate driving the vehicle felt safe. *Guide was a very nice, easy-going person who created friendly conversation between us and the other folks on the tour. *Guide checked in periodically to see if we wanted water, blanket, or snacks. *The waterfalls we saw were spectacular. Gorgeous scenery. *Guide was very attentive to our safety as we trekked between the jeep and the waterfalls. Reasons for 4 (but wish I could do 4.5) stars: *Guide was knowledgeable about the area, history, and plants, but if we weren't standing right next to him we'd miss what he said. (I like to learn.) *We've taken tours where they pick you up from your hotel. With this tour, you MUST have a car to get there. Just in case... *Jeep offers bench seating. If you need a more secure seating situation on a bouncy(ish) jeep ride, you might want to call them ahead of time to see if accommodations are available.

The adventure jeep tour was an awesome experience touring the Pisgah National Forest. Our tour guide was exceptionally generous in providing assistance to my wife and me who are novice hikers. We really enjoyed the knowledge our tour guide provided about the history and natural aspects of the forest. I highly recommend the tour and this company to anyone who wants to see the beauty and wonders of the Pisgah National Park.

Brad was such a fantastic guide! It ended up being a small group and he tailored the trip to our experience level and threw in really interesting hikes. This was a great way to see the sights and learn the history of Pisgah forest.
