This was the most organised tour ever. The staff were so polite and friendly, the gear was excellent, and the lunch was incredible. We can honestly say it was the 'Perfect day" and I would highly encourage others to book.

What a perfect day we had on the Wavedancer Low Isles day trip. Staff were amazing and super friendly and all so knowledgeable about the reef and Low Isles. We had a perfect day weather wise with plenty of sun and a beautiful sea breeze. Great for young families who want to spend the day on a beautiful beach or snorkel off the sand. We were a family of four with 20y and 17y old kids and even they were impressed which isn’t easy these days! We saw heaps of green turtles, small reef sharks and beautiful fish. Lunch was yummy with fresh salads, cold meats and prawns. If you want a beautiful chilled relaxing day on the Great Barrier Reef and don’t want to go to an outer reef this is the perfect day. This would definitely rank in my top Barrier Reef tours I have done. My daughter even got to sing with Ray who is the nicest guy, as he played guitar and entertained us on the trip back to Port Douglas.

The trip was well managed and resourced, with plenty of crew and safety arrangements. It anchors off an amazing reef island 7km from the coast and the marine and reef biologist guides were excellent. Plenty of fish, reef sharks, turtles to be seen. Two things we discovered (too late): 1. Much of the coral was devastated by storm Jasper in 2024 and will take some time to recover, so the glass-bottomed boat trip was disappointing. 2. March is during the rainy season (it poured) so be prepared to get wet out of the water, as well as in it. Would be better mid-year.

Wonderful snorkeling off the beach. Average lunch. We were surprised that you had to pay for snacks and alcohol. Glass bottom boat ride with Tayla and Adonna was great. Lifeguards were helpful on the beach. Health questionnaire was very invasive.

Amazing experience. We had perfect weather. The crew were wonderful and very knowledgeable of the marine life. Highly recommend a visit to the Low Isle on the Wavedancer. They are also affordable.
