Our guide Helena works at the local university; her expertise is in medieval history. When I was an undergrad, I remember going on field trips with my professors, who could answer almost any question and give you as much detail as you wanted on any topic relating to their expertise. This was like that, because she literally is the professor. Yet, she was down to earth and accesible. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Helen had an unbelievable passion for all historical aspects of the tour. Her knowledge of times, dates and facts was simply outstanding. The tour itself was perfect if you have a few hours to spare as we did before our flight home and I would whole heartedly recommend it.
