3.00My family and I were excited about this tour… We got off the cruise ship and it was easy to find the tour company and we were assigned a private “guide.” As nice as he was, he barely spoke English and directed us to a van that looked like it was manufactured 30 years ago. We all got in and realized that only one of the seatbelts were working. As uncomfortable as I was, driving for 30 minutes on two lane roads, we went anyway. Not only were there no seatbelts, but the interior of this van was old and not what you would expect when going on a tour with a professional tour company. We ended up at a monkey sanctuary, which was great where they had their own private guides taking you through the sanctuary. Then our guide, who is really just a driver because he barely speak English, took us to the public beach, but unfortunately, all of the lounge chairs were sold out. He took us next-door to a private beach club that was part of a hotel, which was beautiful, but we ended up paying $180 for five chairs and two umbrellas. We had lunch there also which was not cheap. All in all we had a very nice day, but being in a a beat up vehicle with no seatbelts is never OK.

5.00This was our first time visiting and we were unsure about booking an independent excursion outside of our cruise line but it was well worth it. We had the best guide Alfred. He was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable about the island and the history. We were greeted with an air conditioned vehicle and he even stopped and got us a few mountain dews( they don't have them on the ship) We explored the monkey and sloth exhibit and got to be hands on with Pancho. He then took us to the most beautiful beach and stayed and waited until we were ready to head back to the ship. He made sure we were comfortable the entire time. If you're looking for something to do with your family this is the excursion I would pick. We had our 5 year old with us and it was exactly what we were looking for. Hands down the best day of our entire trip.

4.00Beach was great. Nice little beach club with reasonable priced food and drinks. Monkeys and sloths was good too. Short tour at the sanctuary but got to hold and take pictures with macaws and moneys.

5.00My husband and I truly enjoyed the Sloth and Monkey experience. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. We finished off our experience at the West End beach, which is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone was so helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make us comfortable. I won't lie, I was a little leery about booking with a company other than MSC. This was such a great experience that I will be booking through Viator for all future cruises. The cost was much lower, and our experience was much better and less crowded than on the cruise excursions.

5.00Darneyl was a gem! Such a fun day and perfect for my kids ages 3&5. I strongly encourage any family with littles to make this their go to activity. One on one care from our guide and friendly interactions with the animals. The beach at the end was worth it alone....clearly as glass water and hardly any one there!
West Bay and Monkeys and Sloths. It’s a must do.

5.00We had a wonderful day at West Bay beach and we went to the sloths and mankeys on our way. So much fun. Highly recommend. We also snorkeled at West Bay and it was great. Lots of fish and fun to weave through the coral. Oh and there was a baby sloth so adorable

5.00Everything perfect, we were picked up by the port and the super helpful driver. The well balanced tour between the experience of interacting with animals and a fantastic beach. Very economical and tasty beach and restaurant services.
