Your West Maui Snorkel adventure departs from Kaanapali Beach. Along the way keep your eyes open for Hawaiian spinner dolphins, bottle nose dolphins and during the winter months you can experience the humpback whales that migrate from Alaska to our Maui waters. The Captain will determine the best sites to visit that day based upon current water conditions. Once in the water, you will observe beautiful tropical fish, honu (Hawaiian green sea turtles), vibrant reef, and hopefully some other wildlife surprises. Then after our second location, back on board you will enjoy a buffet lunch and will be offered access to our premium beers, hand crafted cocktails and other libations as we take a leisurely cruise back to Ka’anapali Beach.

We had an awesome snorkeling and whale watching trip with Sea Maui and a great crew. We’ve done several whale watches before, but James gave the best and most informative whale talk we’ve ever heard, so interesting and engaging. The buffet-style food was a big plus with warm options (BBQ chicken pesto pasta salad, rolls, cookies) and lots of Caesar salad for me 😄. The drinks were flowing, and the bean bag chairs on the nets were super comfy. Another highlight was the music…. upbeat and playing the whole time, which made the experience more fun than other boats where the music is off for long stretches. We’ve taken Gemini and Trilogy before, but Sea Maui stood out for the food, seating, music, and James’s whale info. Highly recommend, we’d absolutely go again!
Wonderful 4 hour snorkeling trip. Will definitely do again.

Fantastic. Captain Carrie, Ben, and James were so accommodating and knowledgeable. It made for a very memorable trip. The food was really good as well. The amount of time we spent snorkeling was great and it allowed for us to see a number of whales on our way back.

Great all gal crew for our trip! Friendly, helpful and chatty with patrons. Would recommend! Cant recommend enough. Snorkeling was fun, lunch and breakfast were tasty and drinks kept on being served! Saw many whales and multiple turtles as well as lots of fish and coral!

Incredible views, great tour guides - Linda, our captain, was personable and knowledgeable. We saw whales on our way to and from the snorkel spot and our snorkel experience itself was magical. Beautiful water, colorful fish and a few turtles!

Great pace, amazing crew, awesome whale watching and snorkeling. Plus food was delicious, tunes were spot on and drinks divine. We had the best day in the sun with Charlie, Travis and Emily!! We want to return for an evening sunset sail. We loved the relaxed vibe and super comfortable catamaran.

Great crew. Lots of fun. Saw whales, a pod of dolphins swam with the boat, turtles during snorkeling. Only drawback was the location of the snorkeling. We weren’t that far off the beach and there were A LOT of other boats with a ton of other snorkelers. On past excursions we’d take a 40-ish minute boat ride to a secluded bay so it was really private. On this trip we honestly could’ve swam shore. I would have preferred to be further away from civilization. But the whales/dolphins/turtles we did get to see offset the disappointment of the location.

Stellar! I mean it. From the very start Linda, Emily and Jess took us on an unforgettable experience. They led us through the maui coral reefs, with great attention to detail, consistent care and consideration, safe and fun vibes throughout on a bright beautiful, well maintained catamaran. We loved every interaction, the food (they took care of all our dietary needs) and drinks. We also finally got to see the humpback whales everyone’s been raving about (closest we’ve ever been to whales) - total bonus! The glorious seaside, the green rainforests on the mountains with the bright coral reefs brought out at least ~ 10 different species of fish we captured on our gopro while snorkeling and oh yeah! a super friendly green sea turtle we named mike, whom we had the honor of swimming with for about 1.5 hours. Kudos to the sea maui team on a 5/5 experience. What an absolute treat!
