Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) in the valley from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

Weight limit of 215lbs (97.72kg) Strictly Enforced
ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 10 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
Long pants, closed toe shoes, sunscreen and camera are recommended

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Maui
You will enjoy a 2-hour ride on horseback up to the top of the mountain overlooking the island and looking into the valley at the waterfalls (seasonal). Then ride down the mountain to the ocean and ride along the ocean side (not a white sand beach) where the land and water meet. Enjoy an area in which you can trot or canter if you choose.

5.00Loved our horseback riding morning. Our guides Jessie and Travis made it a wonderful experience for us. I should also be thanking Cliff and Buck our horses. It was only our second time on horses and yet they make us feel right at home.

5.00We had a great trail ride this morning with Selena and Richard! It’s a pretty slow ride, nose to tail, so it’s good for riders of all experiences. There’s a chance to run your horse if you like.

3.00We thought this experience was okay. We had a few more expectations of what this would be, basically it’s a trail ride to a waterfall that is very far away. I expected to be closer to the waterfall, it basically doesn’t even appear in the photos. We didn’t ride to the ocean, just saw it from the trail, far away. So riding a horse was fun, but not quite what we expected.

5.00The people are friendly and very helpful. Great views. The falls are very pretty, they are at a distance. They do allow you to run your horse when its safe to do so and only if you want to. They will ask you if you want to and they will tell you when you can. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

5.00This city girl rode a horse! At first I was terrified, well, I was scared most of the trip (😂) but the guides were helpful and kept me close. I really appreciated that! They were very accommodating, and great to see the comfort and care they put into the horses. The horses were very sweet and you can tell they had a connection with them.
