We did this ride in November and it had rained recently. The owner was very nice and did offer to reschedule us or give us a refund as we could not go up the mountain. Having done at least 10 or more commercial rides at various parks in various states, this was an average ride. The guides were very nice and the horses appeared healthy and in good condition. Th ride down toward the ocean was pretty, and of course the ocean views were gorgeous! The two concerns I had were: 1. Even with 2 wranglers, the group got pretty spread out. Add to that the fact that the horses are used to cantering/galloping at two points, even though we had elected NOT to canter due to trail conditions, I was concerned that some very inexperienced riders were moving faster than I was comfortable with (I am a previous riding instructor). I heard no complaints so it is possible that they were fine with it, I just know they really had no choice at the time. 2. My second "complaint" is that there really is no riding along the coast. There is a small field with a view of the ocean and an opening to take a photo. It just wasn't what I was expecting. Overall we had a fun time so I still recommend this if you want to ride on Maui! Be aware that if there has been any rain it is VERY muddy and dress accordingly!

We had a fantastic time on our tour. Kai and Cole were our guides and the whole team was fantastic. We felt very welcome and it was fun to see all the other animals on the farm as well.

We got to go horseback riding through the mountains. We took two pit stops for photo opportunities. One overlooking the green mountains and another overlooking the ocean. It was such a great time. This was my first time ever riding a horse and our guides had a confidence and calmness associated with the horses that made me feel comfortable. Both Kai and Sierra did a fantastic job as tour guides. Also the horses were at this farm so you got to see other cool animals like pigs, peacocks, chickens, cats, and deer. There was also a point in the trail where they gave you the opportunity to run your horse if you wanted to. An extra tip for you. You are riding on a dirt path so expect your clothes to get very dirty. If you are planning to do something else that day bring a change of clothes.

It’s was a perfect experience! The tour guides, Cierra and Kai were so kind and very knowledgeable. They were patient with us and our horses. The views were beautiful. Even our pictures couldn’t do it justice. We even got to canner! 10/10 recommend.

We signed up for the horseback tour but they were short a tour guide so we were given a chance to do an ATV tour. We had never ridden ATVs (my daughter and I. She is 25 I am 57). We were nervous, but there was no need to be. The guides took us on a test drive and were guiding us the whole way. We agreed this was such a fun way to spend our day!! Only warning is there was a lot of dust and dirt all over us afterwards. But it made our Maui trip so special to ride mountain trails, see sacred grounds and waterfalls nearby and then see a spectacular ocean view. Definitely worth every penny.

I feel this tour is not for people who have never ridden a horse. I feel it is more intermediate level despite saying beginners can do it. The climb up the mountain for beautiful picture shots is quit high, 2500 feet as advertised at the peek. After photos at the peek which the guides were great with, my saddle was not checked thoroughly which not being a rider, I did not think to ask them to check the saddle after the Josling ride up the mountain. The guides did rearrange the horse order for the down hill treck based on horse behaviors they knew about but on the downhill part we go much faster than the uphill portion and my horse would not slow down, my saddle slid way off to the side and I fell completely on my side and hit my head. Very scary and could have really hurt myself. Wear your helmet and make sure they check your saddle before the downhill part of the tour. Beautiful views, long tour, well groomed horses, just not for beginners and make sure they check the saddles before going downhill!

This was so much fun! Everyone was super nice! Tour guides were awesome! Don’t wear white because you will get dirty from the dust.

Wife and I joined for a horseback tour in October, our guides were Cienna and Kai and we rode Gold and Mana. This was the best horseback guided trail ride i’ve joined! The views were incredible, the guides were awesome, and the horses were super healthy and happy to be on the trail. This tour allows you to cantor a bit which was nice. Lots of uphill and downhill on the tour along with a beautiful view of the ocean. this trip is easy for a beginner rider but will keep an intermediate or advanced rider happy. Beware the dust on the trail — wear a mask if you are sensitive and don’t wear clothing you hope to wear again without a trip to the laundry!
