My wife and daughter had an amazing time on the horseback riding adventure. The views were beautiful, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great time and they would definitely do it again.

My husband and I had an amazing time on this tour. The horses were amazing, friendly and great for beginners. Our guide Jesse was so knowledgeable, friendly and definitely knew his stuff! The views were spectacular and the pace of the tour was perfect! They had kitties, pigs, and all kinds of animals at the barn that were fun to see. We wanted to take a kitty home with us. We would highly recommend this tour if you like horses and want something fun to do in Maui!

The guides were both fantastic. Funny, knowledgeable and down to earth. Running the horses near the end was totally cool and of course optional. That is not a common occurrence on these kinds of rides. It adds a true sense of adventure.

Let’s just put it this way I did the horse backing up on the Maui mountains and the guides for horses were great! Everything else not great! All Begging for help! There were sick cats with watery and mucus filled eyes, the pigs creating a ruckus, skinny pigs, pigs with swollen broken legs, there were two horses near the table where we were yelled at to fill out waiver forms that were in absolute need of care! One skin and bones and when asked her age; she’s at an age where no horse should look like that! There was one other horse had sores all down his back! Possibly from being overridden? Very sad place don’t support them!

It is a bit of a drive to get to from Kaanapali - 1 hr or so and please read the full text from them. There is a parking spot on the left hand side and please don’t bother the house on the right of the road. Viator’s address is listed for that house for some reason. Stay in ur car and just wait for the 4wheeler to come and get u. U will drive again up to where the horses are stabled. Our tour guide Richard was awesome and patient with the group. The horses are older and slow… so it was great for us non-experienced riders. View is great and Richard took multiple pictures for each group. Definitely need to slather the sunscreen and wear a hat; wear junky closed toe shoes since ur footwear will get dirty (no HOKAs or wide chunky toes shoes- it’s hard to get ur foot into the stirrup); wear jeans since the saddle will irritate your skin from rubbing against it in shorts; and lastly enjoy talking with the rest of the small group- it made it so much fun.

The guides were great and whenever we stopped they checked on the gear. They took photos of us on the horses and the views were gorgeous

Really beautiful views- VERY long and slow- if you are looking for a stroll pace on a horse for a little over 2 hours this is for you! Tour guides were incredibly nice and views were gorgeous- if you're looking for fast paced this is not for you- we were looking for something a little more fast passed with the kids. We also didn't see any waterfalls

The effort by the horseback guides and check in staff was evident, they are sincere and engaged. The comment I want to make is this particular ride is largely not on flat terrain. The horses navigate steep slopes both up and down. The pace is quick. I have a lifetime of riding experience (owning and showing horses), and that experience gave me a lot of assurance on this ride. I know that if you give these seasoned horses their heads they can pick their way down steep inclines. I just do not know what this ride would feel like to a novice. It seemed only appropriate for intermediate and above riders to me. The views were nice, the trails were unbelievably dusty in places and there was no waterfall. The horses were well conditioned and well boned. The tack was in good condition.
