Join us to observe whales in their natural environment in compliance with regulations, supervised by a team concerned with your safety and animal welfare.
We will share our knowledge and passion for the Polynesian marine environment and will do our utmost to ensure you have an unforgettable experience.
Although unpredictable, it is not uncommon in Moorea to contemplate whales with their calf, love parades, jumps, pectoral fin strikes, caudals out of the water.
These observations of the vessel do not require any particular physical ability.
If the behavior of the animals and the sea conditions allow, we can offer people over 15 comfortable with fins, mask and snorkeling framed by our Aquatic Guide with these giants of the oceans.
You may also have the chance to meet dolphins, globicles, turtles, skates and sharks.

Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness
Being comfortable with fins and a snorkel mask is necessary for launching into the ocean.
Being able to climb back up the boat ladder is necessary for ocean and lagoon launches
Be over fifteen years old for ocean launches
Good physical conditions for launching into the ocean
Be able to palm 300 meters autonomously for launches in the ocean

What To Expect
Immerse yourself in the world of Polynesian whales, observe these sea giants during their seasonal migration aboard the boat and by snorkeling if sea conditions and the behavior of the animals permit. An aquatic guide will inform you and supervise you during launches for your safety and respect for the well-being of the animals.

5.00Ivy and Kristof (sp?) were very passionate and motivated to get our group a worthwhile whale watching and swimming experience. The day before our trip, they saw 0 whale activity, not even a sighting so we were very fortunate to see a bunch of whale activity. It took 3+ hours of navigating until we found one chance to go in the water and see them. We lucked out and got to see the mother whale and her calf in the water during a 20 minute swim! At this point, most other boats gave up and turned around, but we had this wonderful experience thanks to the determined nature of our guides. All provided equipment, including wetsuits and snorkels, functioned well. The boat ride was pleasant and not very choppy even during the storm on the way back to the quay.

5.00A really great morning spent with Christophe and Ivy. A calm, caring, professional and very respectful captain of the ocean, its inhabitants and other boats! Ivy super competent like a fish in the water led us where we needed to be for an observation of 4 beautiful humpback whales, and turtles...she shares her knowledge and passion of the marine environment.... finally a beautiful team that these 2 pleasant smiling people 🤗

5.00Ivy and Christoph were amazing hosts and very knowledgeable. Knew exactly where to be and how to interact. While you can’t guarantee what you’ll see we saw a mom and calf and got amazing pictures. Highly recommend! Of note: they provide wetsuits so you don’t need to rent any Also if you’re not a great swimmer don’t hang on to the life ring Ivy has for safety. She’s not your personal tow float.

5.00My wife and I had an absolutely amazing time. Our captain was Cristoff and our diver I believe her name was Ivey. Both were very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and an absolute pleasure. We cannot thank them more. First dive and swim we found ourselves watching a mom and her baby. A must do experience!
