It was a gray and rainy day, as we started our drive to Deception Pass, but Lindsay (with an "a") brought sunshine, laughter and lots of fun information to our group! . It was a long drive from Seattle to Deception Pass, but Lindsay made the time fly by with great questions and fun facts. He was great at including all the guests ... even our eight year old granddaughter. Because of the rain, he did advance research to find some alternative ideas for our time before the whale watching trip. The whale watching boat ride was OK. We did see a pod of Orchas and several bald eagles, but the boat captain appeared to be in a hurry and returned to port a bit sooner than we anticipated.

I can’t wait to share my thrilling experience with this amazing company! A few weeks ago, I dove into three incredible adventures: we trekked through the majestic Mt. Rainier, embarked on an exhilarating whale watching expedition, and marveled at the stunning Snoqualmie Falls in Seattle. Each tour was absolutely unforgettable! Our guides—Hana, Mathew, and Evan—were nothing short of spectacular! Their enthusiasm, energy, and friendliness made the journeys even more enjoyable, and their deep knowledge about the sights truly enriched our experiences. They went all out to make sure everyone felt right at home, creating a warm, family-like vibe that I absolutely loved. I met some fantastic people along the way, and let me tell you, the lunch was a feast! I devoured tasty ginger tofu paired with flavorful purple rice and apples—what a delightful surprise! It was my sister’s first visit to Seattle, and together we made memories that will last a lifetime. I can’t recommend these tours enough! Plus, there’s an awesome 10% discount for returning customers, which is such a sweet bonus!

This was an AMAZING Day!!! Our tour guide Matthew was completely incredible and we had so much fun. The provided lunch was a culinary feast (not a sandwich as expected). We got lots of history while traveling. On the Whale watching, we saw Humpback whales "courting" and then we saw Orcas playing. The Orcas put on quite the show for our tour!! And then on the way back, we saw sea lions on a small island. The homemade cookie at the end of the day was such a sweet touch!

I had an excellent experience on this tour! It exceeded all expectations. I am visiting Seattle for a conference (solo) and booked the trip to ensure I maximized my time here. Our tour guide, Matthew, was very adept and working with our group of 9 to set the pace, tone and areas of focus for our excursions. The vibe was fun but low key- perfect for me! The scenery and wildlife are obviously spectacular. What made this trip was the knowledge of our guide, the organization of the tour company and the special touches along the way. I knew lunch was included but did not expect an elegant lunch of high quality food complete with silverware and table linens. Yummy snacks and drinks were provided throughout the entire day (which just about reached 11 hours round trip). The van was extremely comfortable, as was the whale watching ship. I tend to have motion sickness. I took a non-drowsy dramamine in the morning and never felt sick once. Both the van and the ship were very stable. Extra bonus stars for our impromptu journey at the end of the tour to find Elsie Mae the Elephant Seal in Anacortes. While you can't operate on a wild animal's schedule, the fact that Matthew seized the opportunity to view this special creature speaks volumes to the dedication Evergreen Escapes has to providing enjoyment and education, not just hauling people from Point A to Point B. If I am lucky enough to visit Seattle again I will absolutely be booking with this company.
