During a 3-hour excursion on board one of our speedboats our crew will do their very best to localize and show you the whales living along the west coast of Mauritius.
Sperm whales can be observed all year round while humpback whales can be observed between June and October.
Don't forget your cameras!

What To Expect
Come with us for an amazing encounter with the whales! On board one of our speed boats, our crew will use a hydrophone to try to localize the whales along the west coast. Their blows can also help localize them. Once on site you can do the observation from the boat only, NO SWIMMING. Sperm whales can be observed all year round while humpback whales can be observed between June and October. Our crew will give you more information about these majestic marine mammals. We will respect approach rules and minimum distance in order to avoid disturbing them. Don't forget your cameras to immortalize this wonderful moment! Water and soft drinks will be served during the tour. We guarantee a 60% chance to see the whales. Lifejackets are compulsory on our boat. Tour not appropriate for children under 3years old

5.00Amazing to be able to see these amazing sperm whales in their natural habitat. The tour operators are respectful of the natural habitat of these amazing creatures and allow us to spend some time with them in a way that doesn't cause distress to them. Blessed to have seen a pod of 8 whales including mother and baby. The tour guides knowledge of the sperms whales was second to none. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

2.00We were staying in Belle Mare (opposite side of the island) and twice whilst we were driving across in the morning the trip was cancelled due to bad weather/rough seas. We tried to book with another company but it was too late, it seems that most trips start at 4/5am whilst theirs start at 9am. Also other companies were already out and had seen whales on the second day they cancelled us. We simply could not keep amending days and driving across the island repeatedly to then be cancelled on. Refund was given pretty swiftly.

1.00We made the booking a month in advance. On the day of our trip we got message 1 & 1/2 before the booking (when we were on our way in taxi) that our trip is cancelled due to rough conditions on sea and strong wind. When we arrived there was no wind, really calm day and from a viewpoint we saw that even the sea was really calm... We got offer to reschedule to another day, but thats impossible if you are on a short vacation just like us.

5.00Excellent trip. Really well organised , good communication and information given before hand . Easy to find straight on the boat . Guides friendly and good information and explanations given . Very respectful of the whale and its peace and safety . Water and soft drinks provided . Toilet on boat and driver and guide helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommend and we saw mother and baby and female on way back diving and got tail shot !!!

5.00We had a wonderful tour and were incredibly lucky. We spent a long time alone with a young sperm whale. I would like to emphasise in particular that the welfare of the Waale has been given great attention, this unfortunately cannot be said of other providers. After some time, they did not arrive carefully and then went snorkeling, so the Waal was then also very quickly gone.

However, the tour lasted only around . 2 hours instead of the stated time of 3 hours. Also there was water on request only in the cup, not in bottles for the individual; unfortunately there were no other drinks! Therefore, deduction of total points...

5.00One of the best experiences of my life. Our tour group was tiny - just the three of us plus another couple, which made the whole thing feel personal and special. We saw so many whales, and incredibly close too - their size is unbelievable when you’re right beside them. The staff were fantastic - enthusiastic and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience possible. I honestly can’t imagine a better whale-watching trip than this.

4.00We were lucky as we saw 3 whales. We left on time and had a brief safety talk. The team were very respectful of the whales. The sea was getting a bit rough so the trip was ended a bit early but that was fine. We were told to hold on tight as the boat would be jumping about which it did. Tips: Easy to find, you can park in the streets near the jetty. Only take a small bag as not really anywhere to store anything. Be prepared to get wet/soaked (depending where you're sat). Bare feet in the boat.
