  Absolutely stunning spectacular views, amazing pilot (Ben), well worth spending the money, we where fortunate enough to have a rare sighting of a whale. If you going to Rotorua make sure this is on your checklist. Pays to book in advanced.

  Ben (our pilot) was fantastic! He was so enthusiastic about the flight and did a great job providing information about what we were seeing along the way. This was a fantastic and unique tour - we got lucky and even got to see the volcano erupting! Would definitely recommend for anyone interested in the White Island.

  Steve, our pilot was amazing, knowledgeable and so keen to give us the best experience. He ensured we all got great views, turning the plane around time and again so we could each get that amazing picture. He shared his flying experiences with us that made the flight over the water so interesting, and looked out for whales and dolphins for us (regrettably there weren’t any). We would highly recommend this flight as the geological contrast between White Island and Mount Tarawera was surprising in both colour and shape and was fully appreciated from the air. Seeing the craters, lakes and geothermal activity was exceptional because of the colours and enhanced by Steve’s commentary.

  Great experience overall. Our pilot was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself was amazing- the views of the volcanoes were great and the pilot flew over White Island a few times to make sure everyone got a good view. Will definitely recommend to others

  Excellent seaplane or helicopter experience over Rotorua. The good thing is, there's something for every budget. And if you are lucky, you will even be installed in the seaplane cockpit, next to the pilot!!

  After leaving the lakefront we taxied across the lake to pick up more passengers from one of the lodges then took off and flew out to White Island. It was a clear day and it was great to see all the surrounds that we usually see from the ground from up in the air. Flew around the island then back around in opposite direction so both sides got good views. Sadly we didn't see any dolphins but it was wonderful and down at 650 feet we had really great views. Returned back via Edgecombe, Kawerau and the lakes. Just the most amazing experience, great pilot,plenty of info on all we were seeing, and staff at the office.

  When visiting Rotorua we booked a 30 minute sightseeing flight in the seaplane of the 45 !!! It took minutes. Great. It went in a dhc3 otter from 1954 from the lake over forests and volcanoes with the most magnificent views. Highly recommended..
