From Port of Airlie, cruise across the Whitsunday Passage and into the Whitsunday Islands. On Hamilton Island, hop-on/hop-off shuttle buses take you past key attractions and scenic lookouts. Cool-off in the main pool with its swim-up bar, visit iconic Catseye Beach, or browse the waterfront shops and galleries before lunch at Marina Tavern. You’ll also have the chance to explore Whitehaven Beach, where you can wander along the 7km shoreline – beachcombing, bushwalking and wading in the warm, crystal-clear water.

PLEASE NOTE: This tour does not visit Hill Inlet or the Hill Inlet Lookout. Hamilton Island is self guided, see desk for info.

Early start and more of a ferry than cruise. Very confusing itinerary, everyone was asking when/ where to get off. Whitehaven is one of the world’s top beaches, so what’s not to like. Hamilton lunch is as OK, Swam in the Reef resort pool.

It was an amazing day at the spectacular Whitehaven beach. our guide, was very knowledgeable and a fun, easy-going person at the same time. He really took care of everything we needed and organized the day wonderfully. We could see every part of the island and had a great beach BBQ with plenty of food. We would recommend this whole-day tour for those who would love to explore the entire island.

During our tour of Australia we also stayed in Airlie Beach for a few days and did the day trip to Hamilton Island and Whitehaven Beach. The day was very well organized, nothing to criticize. We were dropped off first on Hamilton Island. There is plenty to see there; there is a free van across the island, but it is not visible where it then drives, despite the map. In the end we enjoyed a great morning. We got a voucher for lunch at Poppey's Fish & Chips, which was a delicious lunch. In the afternoon we were dropped off at Whitehaven Beach; what a wonderful stay on and near the beautiful beach. In terms of time it was also a fine day.
Whitehaven on a sunny day is a must!!!

Staff were helpful and friendly, boat was super clean, had a bonus whale watching trip whilst on board too... also got a stunning sunset cruise on the way back. Only thing I would say would be to serve the morning tea a little earlier as I felt that this was very rushed and not everyone who wanted some was able to get it. Whitehaven Beach and Hamilton Island trip was definitely the highlight of our Airlie Beach holiday

Backed out due to 25+ knots and 46km wind speed, and a guy getting off the morning trip saying to me, whatever you do, do not go on that boat..their whole group of 8+ was vomiting. This tour company still uses a catamaran in rough seas, not a bigger powered boat, unlike the other company. Unfortunately there's no changes or refunds possible.
