The three-time Australian Gold Award-winning tour visits the world-famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet lookout and offers two snorkelling opportunities on the fringing Great Barrier Reef.
Thundercat is designed for stability and speed, so it’s perfect for passengers concerned about seasickness. The all-inclusive package departing from Airlie Beach is suitable for families, couples, and groups wanting to experience once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Set sail for a day of swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing in the Whitsundays on this full-day tour with Red Cat Adventures. Cruise around the islands on Thunder Cat, a high-speed catamaran, and discover the colorful underwater world of the UNESCO-listed Great Barrier Reef as you stop at two snorkeling hotspots. You will cruise at high speeds to Hill Inlet Lookout and take the famous walk to the lookout for stunning views of Whitehaven Beach. After taking some magical photos you can enjoy some beach time and dip your toes in the crystal clear water.

4.00Great day had by all. Our only suggestion would be to take half the boats to one snorkeling area and the other half to the other, we went to two great locations, but all the boats went together and there were too many people in the water at once and very difficult for your staff to keep an eye on the stupid people who stood on the coral.

5.00Amazing crew, safe and suitable for people who are not strong swimmers (like me!) Fabulous Red Cat team, picked us up, dropped us off, provided excellent luch & snacks. Visited great spots to snorkel and made my first experience snorkelling a fun and comfortable one. Good instruction provided, skin suits, bouancy vests and pool noodles included with the booking. Huge thanks to Sean, Hannah, Beau and Frankie, the crew are outstanding. Catered lunch is varied and plentiful - garden salad, cold sliced meats, rolls and extra pasta salad, noodle salad, potato salad. All delicious! White haven beach, so beautiful. The walk up to lookout may be a bit too much for those who have knee pain or not very fit but excellent views if you can manage it. Worth every cent, my sister and I loved it.

5.00We loved our day in the Whitsundays with Jarrod and Sheb. The music on the way out put us all in great moods, the snorkelling spots were amazing and the lunch was delicious. The gear supplied was all in good order. The day was one of our highlights for our trip!

5.00Absolutely amazing full day trip, worth every cent. All the crew were brilliant especially Rosie and Randal who made it really special for us with their professionalism and humour. The sights we saw were unbelievably beautiful and we would thoroughly recommend it and would go again if we revisit the area again. Well worth the cost!! We saw thousands of fish during the two snorkelling stops which was fantastic.

5.00We had the best day out with The Red Cat Adventures Crew!! Kobe & Hannah were amazing, so knowledgeable and had the day run so smoothly! We had our 4.5yo son with us on the day trip & Kobe made special effort to assist and engage with him on his first snorkelling experience. If you’re looking for an awesome day out - look no further :) Will be back again another time!
If you want to do the whitsundays in one day this is the way.

5.00Fantastic day. Well laid out. Beautiful snorkeling between tropical fish and coral after which plenty of time for beach and lookout. Very well arranged with very nice staff. Randel and Nikki are great.

5.00The boat was very spacious and nice, the snorkeling was great but the fish feeding spot was amazing there was fish swimming everywhere you could literally touch them all. The food was pretty good. The white haven beach and the hill inlet lookout was very beautiful, it is quite a walk to get up to the look out but it is definitely worth it. At white haven the sand is definitely white and the waters so clear.the crew were so nice and funny. Overall I would definitely recommend to go on the red cat adventure.
