WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo
WILD LIFE Sydney showcases Australia's unique and bizarre flora and fauna. Take a walk on the wild side and jump into wallaby cliffs with the yellow-footed rock wallabies, or see one of Australia's national icons, the koala. Marvel at Australia's bizarre creepy crawlies or see the scales and tails of our unique reptiles. Allow yourself to be completely immersed within this world class exhibit, where animals will be living within their natural habitats and ecosystems, such as the spectacular two-storey aviary and butterfly house, the canopies of which can be seen from a distance outside the building. We recommend that visitors allow approximately one and half hours per visit. With nine different habitats and approximately 6,000 all-Australian animals there are always new and exciting experiences at WILD LIFE Sydney.

Be prepared for the first half of the "wildlife" experience to have little to no actual wildlife. The second half of the exhibit you do get to see kangaroos, koalas and crocodiles.

Waste of money and Waste time. Very little choice, one animal per place. I wish I had gone to the zoo.

I have to tell you this zoo provided EXACTLY what I wanted . For my vacation I wanted to see a koala and kangaroo. We could have gone to Toranga zoo but there was no need . This was fabulous. The 2 zoo attendants were so helpful and we thank you . Highlight of my trip. We got to see the koalas up close. The kangaroo although not very up close for our safety we got great pictures

Was pretty quick and not that much to see. Most animals were hiding and just uneventful. Not value for money sadly. The kids 4 and 7 were not impressed and said is this it. Was a school holiday trip. Probably would be good fir overseas people who have never seen Australian animals

This is good if you’re only in Sydney for a brief visit and don’t have time to go to one of the big zoos. Lots of reptiles and a chance to see koalas and kangaroos and crocodiles. It’s not big, it only takes an hour or so to see it, but for a family visit on a multi pass ticket it’s worth having a look.

If you don’t want to spend hours walking around a huge zoo, this was a good way to see the so-called Aussie Big 5 (kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles, wombat and platypus) plus Tasmanian Devils, wallabies, a cassowary, and various reptiles. I really enjoyed the keeper talks as they were very interesting and informative, and all were good about answering questions. I learned so much and was able to take lots of good photos from a close distance.

We loved this! It was a key thing for us to do in Australia and we are so pleased we booked the breakfast with koalas. It’s an early start (7:15am) but you get greeted with yea and coffee and then we had a great guide, Morgan, who walked us around the zoo. It was before the public came in so we had a group of about 20 people. Really good value for money and the brekkie was lovely - fruit and a fried breakfast and toast, with veggie options. Great to spend time with koalas while we ate. They were literally an arms distance from us. You can’t touch them but you got to have your photo near them. We had our photo taken with Banksy. You get three printed photos (ask at the cafe for a photo case) but can take as many as you want. You’re not rushed and can look around the zoo after. Great to see before the public arrives. Really interesting to hear about the other animals. Well organised and reasonably priced. Mostly under cover so it was fine when we visited on a rainy day!

Much more exciting and up close than I expected! So happy I had this opportunity and it was near my stay! It did seem like they were fixing some things so the experiences were altered

The facility is a bit small and also not so appealing. Wildlife could not be taught enough.

Few animals in poor conditions ( felt sorry for them). Some lots empty. Just for tourists with little time or nothing else to do on a rainy day.
