The experience begins when a friendly guide greets you at the meeting point. You'll be part of a small group of no more than 11 travellers aboard a comfortable minibus that takes you south out of the city along the beaches of Botany Bay and through the Royal National Park. First stop is Bald Hill Lookout, a popular launch site for hang gliders and para gliders, which affords sweeping views of the Illawarra coastline and the famous Sea Cliff Bridge. After the break it's just a few minutes drive to the family-run Symbio Wildlife Park which is active in koala conservation. Here you'll find out everything you ever wanted to know about these fascinating marsupials during a private koala experience with a keeper. Snap the ultimate selfie - just you and a koala. You’ll also be able to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies and get up close to other native Australian wildlife. Next you'll meander along the Grand Pacific Drive traversing the Sea Cliff Bridge as it sweeps out over the ocean, well clear of the crumbling cliffs to which the old highway clung. You’ll continue to follow the scenic coastline to a golden beach where you’ll enjoy lunch in a café popular with locals with views out over the ocean. Bring your swimmers for a dip if the sun is out! In the afternoon you’ll head up through temperate rainforest into the Southern Highlands. An easy hike leads to viewpoints that take in the spectacular sandstone gorges and towering waterfalls of the Morton National Park. Finally, you’ll drive along country roads to a boutique winery to sample locally-produced, cool climate wine before returning to Sydney. Arrival back at Circular Quay is around 6:30pm.

We had such a great time learning, seeing, experiencing and tasting the history and culture of Australia. Would recommend this for any type of group of solo travel. The "other Steve" was the perfect tour guide!

After a string of hit-and-miss experiences choosing accommodations and tours based on reviews, this one truly lived up to—and exceeded—its stellar ratings. This tour is genuinely top-notch and well suited to any traveler. We had “Other Steve” as our guide, who was outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely funny. The day is perfectly paced and filled with breathtaking scenery, rich history, fun facts and thoughtfully chosen stops. The experience began with a scenic drive from Sydney to an animal preserve, where we encountered remarkable wildlife up close. We then enjoyed a proper lunch in a beautiful beachside setting, with time to swim and relax. The day concluded at a high-caliber, stunning winery that was a highlight in itself. We traveled with our young daughter, who was entertained and engaged throughout the entire day. Even members of our group who don’t enjoy wine loved every minute of this experience. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing tour. I loved all the stops, and the lunch spot had amazing views. The wildlife Park we visited took very good care of their animals and enclosures. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny ( the other Steve). I went on two tours while I was visiting Sydney and this was by far the best one. Highly recommend!

Steve was a fabulous tour guide. He had a wealth of knowledge on the history of the area, including special tidbits that not everyone would know about. Hehad a wealth of knowledge about the areas he was introducing us to. It was a beautiful tour. The rainforeset and waterfalls were stunning. Loved wine tasting experience at the end of our tour. Thank you, Steve, for a wonderful day!

We were looking for an experience that got us away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney for a day and a chance to experience some of the beautiful nature of NSW. This tour hit the mark! Our guide, Steve -- well, Fake Steve as he said! -- could not have been more friendly and knowlegeable about the area and was an excellent tour guide. We got a chance to see some of the amazing animals native to Australia, some beautiful views along the coastal drive, and a great finisher at a local winery. We were headed to Tasmania the next day, and Steve was also great giving us recommendatioons that made that part of the trip even better as well. If you're looking for an excellent day trip to get outside the city and into nature, this is the one for you!
