The experience begins when a friendly guide greets you at the meeting point. You'll be part of a small group of no more than 11 travellers aboard a comfortable minibus that takes you south out of the city along the beaches of Botany Bay and through the Royal National Park. First stop is Bald Hill Lookout, a popular launch site for hang gliders and para gliders, which affords sweeping views of the Illawarra coastline and the famous Sea Cliff Bridge. After the break it's just a few minutes drive to the family-run Symbio Wildlife Park which is active in koala conservation. Here you'll find out everything you ever wanted to know about these fascinating marsupials during a private koala experience with a keeper. Snap the ultimate selfie - just you and a koala. You’ll also be able to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies and get up close to other native Australian wildlife. Next you'll meander along the Grand Pacific Drive traversing the Sea Cliff Bridge as it sweeps out over the ocean, well clear of the crumbling cliffs to which the old highway clung. You’ll continue to follow the scenic coastline to a golden beach where you’ll enjoy lunch in a café popular with locals with views out over the ocean. Bring your swimmers for a dip if the sun is out! In the afternoon you’ll head up through temperate rainforest into the Southern Highlands. An easy hike leads to viewpoints that take in the spectacular sandstone gorges and towering waterfalls of the Morton National Park. Finally, you’ll drive along country roads to a boutique winery to sample locally-produced, cool climate wine before returning to Sydney. Arrival back at Circular Quay is around 6:30pm.

We were looking for an experience that got us away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney for a day and a chance to experience some of the beautiful nature of NSW. This tour hit the mark! Our guide, Steve -- well, Fake Steve as he said! -- could not have been more friendly and knowlegeable about the area and was an excellent tour guide. We got a chance to see some of the amazing animals native to Australia, some beautiful views along the coastal drive, and a great finisher at a local winery. We were headed to Tasmania the next day, and Steve was also great giving us recommendatioons that made that part of the trip even better as well. If you're looking for an excellent day trip to get outside the city and into nature, this is the one for you!

This was a great trip, the views along the coast road and the lunch overlooking the beach were excellent. The visit to Symbio wildlife park and visit to Moreton National Park were also great, the other Steve was a great guide for the day....Andy

I was in a very small group - a total of 3 of us -- not including our guide. But it was a lot of fun. So nice to get out of Sydney and see more of Australia without having to do the heavy lifting. Our guide was super knowledgeable and funny. He seemed to really love his job. I had a tight 48hrs in Sydney - so this was a great excursion that allowed me to get as much of Australia into those hours. The waterfall was stunning - and not crowded at all. Getting to pet koalas and feed kangaroos was fantastic. And the winery was gorgeous - and they had the cutest staffy there that loves belly scratches. We had little extra stops when our guide saw something noteworthy or caught his eye - he was quick to catch those! Like pulling over to see a field full of wild kangaroos - for someone from the US, it was so cool to see them in their element. Definitely recommend!

It was a great tour; the guide and the company took very good care of us. All the activities were great. We had an evening international flight soon after the tour would normally end, and the company made arrangements so that they gave us a ride to the airport.

We had a wonderful time on the tour! Steve, our guide for the day, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and offered commentary throughout the entire day. He answered all of our questions and adjusted each stop to accommodate the requests of participants. The tour itself checked all the boxes. It was a great mix of activity/stops interspersed throughout the drive. Beyond seeing kangaroos at the sanctuary, Steve spotted several in the wild and pulled off the freeway so that we could see them. The day was exactly what I had hoped and was the top tour we did while visiting Sydney. Do not hesitate to book... a wonderful experience facilitated by a great guide.

This was an all-day, worthwhile, amazing tour. The tour guide was friendly, and knowledgeable. There were only four of us which made the tour even more pleasant. Lunch was amazing, the scenic tour was breathtaking; and being up close with the koala and kangaroo was heartwarming. If you are trying to decide, say yes, take a water bottle, wear very comfortable, closed-toe shoes that are made for walking/hiking and don't forget that it's an all-day event.

The tour includes many stops, but you don't feel rushed, and the food is very good. Above all, our guide made it a great experience. Highly recommended for a fantastic day out.
