The experience begins when a friendly guide greets you at the meeting point. You'll be part of a small group of no more than 11 travellers aboard a comfortable minibus that takes you south out of the city along the beaches of Botany Bay and through the Royal National Park. First stop is Bald Hill Lookout, a popular launch site for hang gliders and para gliders, which affords sweeping views of the Illawarra coastline and the famous Sea Cliff Bridge. After the break it's just a few minutes drive to the family-run Symbio Wildlife Park which is active in koala conservation. Here you'll find out everything you ever wanted to know about these fascinating marsupials during a private koala experience with a keeper. Snap the ultimate selfie - just you and a koala. You’ll also be able to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies and get up close to other native Australian wildlife. Next you'll meander along the Grand Pacific Drive traversing the Sea Cliff Bridge as it sweeps out over the ocean, well clear of the crumbling cliffs to which the old highway clung. You’ll continue to follow the scenic coastline to a golden beach where you’ll enjoy lunch in a café popular with locals with views out over the ocean. Bring your swimmers for a dip if the sun is out! In the afternoon you’ll head up through temperate rainforest into the Southern Highlands. An easy hike leads to viewpoints that take in the spectacular sandstone gorges and towering waterfalls of the Morton National Park. Finally, you’ll drive along country roads to a boutique winery to sample locally-produced, cool climate wine before returning to Sydney. Arrival back at Circular Quay is around 6:30pm.

The WWW tour from Sydney was a full day of traveling, but the van was very comfortable and it was a good way to see sites away from the big cities. Our tour guide/driver, Emma, was very personable and I enjoyed listening to and talking with her. She was knowledgeable about the areas we toured, and offered historical and present day info during the drive. Our first stop was the Symbio Wildlife Park, where we arrived before the crowds and were able to enjoy the Koala Experience before other visitors arrived. We also got to feed the kangaroos and wallabies during the quiet time. Emma interacted easily with the Park staff and seemed to have a good relationship with them. From the Park we traveled along the coast to Bulli Beach, stopping at a couple of scenic overlooks before having lunch at the Bulli Beach Cafe. We had the opportunity to swim in the Bulli Rockpool, but nobody in the group I was with took advantage of that. Instead, we spent a little time walking along the beach. From Bulli Beach we traveled through the beautiful Southern Highlands to the Morton National Park. Once we arrived at the Park, we walked along a couple of trails and saw a few small waterfalls, before arriving at an overlook to see the picturesque Fitzroy Falls (81m). After seeing the Fitzroy Falls, we headed out for the winery and the wine tasting. The winery itself was beautiful and they offered us a small cheese/fruit assortment during the tasting. (Although I don't drink wine, a couple I was traveling with bought a bottle of wine to take with them on a cruise they were leaving on the next day.) Walking through the Symbio Wildlife Park was mostly on paved walkways; walking through the Morton National Park was on what I considered typical park trails through the woods but with quite a few sets of steps, and was more difficult. It was a long day and we covered a lot of miles, but overall it was a wonderful experience and I'm glad I took the tour.

We have done numerous excursions in Australia and New Zealand and this was our best guide that we had. He was very friendly and informative. It was also nice to have a local to guide us.

The price is well worth the experience. Rhoan our tour guide was fantastic. We entered the animal sanctuary before the general public, got social time with the kangaroos, took a drive to the National Park which was breathtaking. Lastly going to Centennial winery was great. Tasting their sparkling wine was so good and getting to pet the winery dog Talli. Couple spots where you had to be in the car for a bit but was good for a short nap. Most tourists go to the Blue Mountains when in Sydney, but I can’t recommend this enough. You basically have each location to yourself and your small group. Less touristy and more genuine.

One of the best yours we have taken so far on this trip. Rowan our tour guide was excellent!! He is very knowledgeable and provided us with meaningful/insightful information about a variety of subjects. It was like having a private tour since there were only 8 of us. Good lunch in a very nice beach town. The koalas private viewing was so special❤️ The wine tasting very enjoyable, love the cheeses, crackers, fruit and dried fruit platter. Highly recommend this company!!

Today’s experience was absolutely wonderful — easily the highlight of my trip to Sydney so far. The combination of wildlife, waterfalls, and wine made for such a well-rounded and memorable day. Everything felt thoughtfully organized, the pacing was excellent, and we were able to truly enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. The scenery was stunning throughout the day, and each location offered something unique and special. If you’re considering this tour, I highly recommend it. It was a beautiful way to experience more of New South Wales beyond the city and one of the most enjoyable days of my trip.

If you hesitate to book group tours, don’t think twice about this one. The group is small and intimate and the itinerary is wonderful. Full of local gems. This is not a cookie cutter tour with hundreds of tourists on the same schedule. Steve was a fantastic guide and host. Each stop was exciting. The drive was stunning. It’s a fantastic day out. We’d do it again in a heart beat.

This tour was amazing! Tour Guide Emma picked us up promptly and we loved all the experiences … patting a Koala, feeding Wallaby’s and Kangaroos, driving through national parks, lunching at a seaside cafe, amazing vistas of the shoreline, and a relaxing visit to a winery. I highly recommend this tour!
