The experience begins when a friendly guide greets you at the meeting point. You'll be part of a small group of no more than 11 travellers aboard a comfortable minibus that takes you south out of the city along the beaches of Botany Bay and through the Royal National Park. First stop is Bald Hill Lookout, a popular launch site for hang gliders and para gliders, which affords sweeping views of the Illawarra coastline and the famous Sea Cliff Bridge. After the break it's just a few minutes drive to the family-run Symbio Wildlife Park which is active in koala conservation. Here you'll find out everything you ever wanted to know about these fascinating marsupials during a private koala experience with a keeper. Snap the ultimate selfie - just you and a koala. You’ll also be able to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies and get up close to other native Australian wildlife. Next you'll meander along the Grand Pacific Drive traversing the Sea Cliff Bridge as it sweeps out over the ocean, well clear of the crumbling cliffs to which the old highway clung. You’ll continue to follow the scenic coastline to a golden beach where you’ll enjoy lunch in a café popular with locals with views out over the ocean. Bring your swimmers for a dip if the sun is out! In the afternoon you’ll head up through temperate rainforest into the Southern Highlands. An easy hike leads to viewpoints that take in the spectacular sandstone gorges and towering waterfalls of the Morton National Park. Finally, you’ll drive along country roads to a boutique winery to sample locally-produced, cool climate wine before returning to Sydney. Arrival back at Circular Quay is around 6:30pm.

Wonderful way to meet wildlife and get out of the city! After petting koalas and feeding kangaroos, I felt I had gotten my money’s worth but that was just the start. The day continued with beautiful views and so much information about Australia. Tony was wonderful. I would absolutely recommend to spend a day with Wildlife, Waterfalls, and Wine!

What a fabulous day wandering south of Sydney! Our local guide, Rob was simply the best. From local stories, to a on-time itinerary, with plenty of stops for photos… this was a great experience. We saw the coastline, we traveled winding roads up mountains, we saw local wildlife, beautiful gardens and farms, coastal cafe lunch, a stunning waterfall and finished with a wine tasting. Learned much about this beautiful place along the way! Rob is simply amazing and his enthusiasm for his home comes through all day!

The drive to lunch was breathtaking! The waterfall hike was very accessible and the scenery beautiful….even in the rain! The wine tasting was beautiful and the wines were very tasty! The vineyard was fabulous! All done with time for dinner after the tour! Highly recommend!

Our host, Rowan, was excellent. We were given history and local facts that were of great interest to out whole group. The"zoo" amazed us. Hands on with the koala's , the wallaby's and kangaroos. Great lunch! The falls were obscured by clouds but interesting and the winery was fun. Great day! Highly recommend. It's a do over!

Great variety of activities, emphasizing areas south and west of Sydney not covered by many other tours. And I really enjoyed our guide!

I had a very detailed review done but it didn’t save so I’m not going to rewrite it all but it was great! Rohan was great and exceeded expectations. Amazing views, lunch swim, koala, kangaroo, waterfalls, wine! What’s not to love. Ended with 13,000 steps for the day. There is a changing space and shower if you want to swim. Would recommend to anyone visiting and very moderately priced for all you get!

I cannot say enough great things about our excursion with Local Travel Planner!! The wildlife, waterfalls and wine day tour was perfection! Our guides were super friendly and knowledgable and went above and beyond. They even had large umbrellas for us to use, should it start to rain, which it did. But that didn’t dampen our spirits which tells you how awesome the tour was!! We experienced so much in one day and it was the highlight of our trip down under. Thank you for such a memorable experience!!

My wife and I spent the day with Steve, touring the amazing Australian countryside. We stopped at a zoo and were able to pet koala and feed kangaroos, emus and goats. We traveled through a National Park, which was spectacular. We saw an incredible waterfall and had some terrific wine. We enjoyed a tasty lunch with an amazing view. Steve was a fantastic guide! He shared so much knowledge of the area and we learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour!

Our day tour with Jackie was great. Gives you a different experience then the Blue Mountain tours. Wildlife park and encounters were fantastic. Stops and views a long the way breathtaking. Hike is easy to views of waterfalls. Ending the day with wine tasting at a stunning winery with delicious tastings and snacks. Really enjoyable and highly recommended. Nice maximum group of 11 on bus.
