This big day out to the south of Sydney winds through Australia’s oldest national park, takes in spectacular coastal scenery along the Grand Pacific Drive, traverses the Sea Cliff Bridge, then climbs the sandstone escarpment to return via the forests and farmland of the picturesque Southern Highlands.

Enjoy up close and personal experiences with iconic Australian wildlife, expansive vistas of coastal scenery, eucalyptus-clad valleys and waterfalls plunging over sandstone cliffs, scenic drives through national parks and along bays, beaches and country backroads, beachside dining and cool-climate wine tasting.

Tour includes a private koala experience with a keeper, lunch at a popular seaside cafe, wine-tasting at a boutique winery, National Parks and wildlife park entry fees, friendly and knowledgable guide, transport in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus. Bring closed shoes, sunscreen, hat & reusable water bottle. Swimsuit & towel for a swim in the ocean if it’s hot. Warm clothing in layers if it’s cold (usually May-October).

We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful tour! Our guide, Steve, knows everything about absolutely everything. Every plant, animal, place, with its history and story. We enjoyed the animal park, took pictures with koalas, fed kangaroos and saw crocodiles. We drove through nature and saw waterfalls, then ended the day with wine tasting - the perfect day! Would recommend this experience to anyone. Thanks again Steve!

Great long day...very diverse places Would have loved half day with just wildlife encounter.Im not a wine drinker..this tour was combined with a wine tasting. Tour guide was amazing. But it is a lot of driving around on 11 hour tour. LOVED being picked up from my hotel, Marriott

An absolutely fantastic day. We got to see places outside of the usual Sydney tours. A great stop at the Symbio Wildlife Park getting an up close and personal experience with the local animals including Koalas and Kangaroos. A few scenic stops including lunch along the coast. A beautiful drive inland to Fitzroy Falls which were stunning, and finally a wonderful stop at Centennial Winery where the wine and staff were amazing. Our driver, Steve was very knowledgeable and was unable to be stumped by our many questions. Note, there is a lot of driving involved, but to be expected to get out of the city and be able to see some of the less traveled sites. Definitely worth the time and would do again. Highly recommend tour.

Knowledgeable and friendly guide. Half hour early access prior to public to Symbio Zoo to meet/pet/feed koalas, wallabies, etc. Shuttle to beautiful national park-waterfalls, short trails-guide shared nature and history info. Good lunch at beach overlook and off to wine tasting done at pretty setting-locally produced wines-caring staff. Nice different “Sydney” day.

Rowan was a great tour guide. Very informative and personable. The experience at the Symbio Wildlife was top notch. Special encounter with Koalas before it opened to the public and getting to feed wallabies and kangaroos. Then off to see some beautiful views and the waterfall after a short nature walk. Lunch near the beach and a bit of time to go for a swim or dip your toes in. Then to the winery. The overall tour was great, but if you have experience with wineries, I would say that the “wine” part of the tour was lacking. Still 5 stars given the way the whole tour was run and Rowan our tour guide.
