This outing follows our popular wildlife tour itinerary, but includes an opportunity to get out and stretch your legs as you breathe in the fresh mountain air. Enjoy a Yellowstone sunrise while in route to discover some of Yellowstone’s abundant and diverse wildlife. Yellowstone is home to the largest concentration of mammals in the lower 48 states (67 species to be precise). After an early morning of viewing wildlife in the spectacular Lamar Valley, Your Guide will provide lunch at Cooke City. After lunch the remainder of the time will be spent spotting and watching wildlife. We will take you into the wild and out of the ordinary! Book today!

What To Expect
Lamar Valley
Your Guide will take you to the Lamar Valley early in the Tour for your best chance to spot & watch Wolves & wildlife. Unless there is another area they have been watching them.
Mammoth Hot Springs
Mammoth Hot Springs You will visit the Mammoth Hot Springs thermal terraces on the return trip - time permitting.

5.00We went out with Ron and he was awesome. Like any good guide he put us on the wildlife early and often. We really enjoyed our day with him. He put us on two huge grizzly bears that I don’t know how he spotted. Very knowledgeable about the area and easy to talk to. Lunch was good, we spent time eating in a picnic spot away from the crowds.

5.00We really enjoyed our private wildlife excursion at Yellowstone, Ron was an excellent guide, he made sure our trip was both comfortable and enjoyable. Ron made sure we got the best wildlife views with using both binoculars and high powered scopes.

5.00We had an excellent tour today with JR. Communication the day before was great answering last minute questions concerning pick-up time, location and what we might need to bring. He was prompt picking us up to start a wonderful day. His knowledge concerning the park and wildlife was great. We saw Big Horn sheep, mountain goats, bison, black bears, pronghorn, wolves, coyotes, fox, Bald Eagles, hawks and sand hill cranes. He and my daughter talked photography most of the trip and he was able to share tips and tricks with her. Highly recommend a tour to get the most out of your Yellowstone vacation.

5.00We booked 3 private tours (Wilderness, Upper and Lower Loops) and they were all amazing! Debbie was wonderful to work with booking the tours. Ron, our guide, was fabulous! He was friendly, courteous, considerate and so knowledgeable. He gave us so much information and told great stories. We saw so much more than we ever could have seen on our own. Lunches were delicious, with more than enough food. Plus, not having to drive ourselves was such a pleasure. Thanks so much to Dreamin’ Adventures for making our stay in Yellowstone so special.

5.00We had a wonderful day! John was an amazing guide! We saw a black bear with cubs, a wolf pup, elk, pronghorn antelope, mountain goats and many many bison. The lunch and snacks were all great and Debbie was so helpful with arranging the tour and answering my questions.

5.00Was a great day. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We saw a bear and her cub also bison, elk. Then we entered Lamar valley. Found 3 separate wolf sittings with binoculars and scopes that were provided. Lunch was a feast, well worth it. Was a great experience.

5.00Our family of six are so happy we took this tour . Adam, our guide not only shows us amazing views, he set up spotting scopes for us. We set a record on this tour for the number of bears we saw, cubs included. My Bucket list was to see a wolf AND I did as well as her pups! Wow, wow and wow.

5.00My family of six had a fantastic tour with JR. We saw plenty of wildlife despite the hot summer weather and hazy visibility (nearby fires). In addition to the wildlife viewing, JR offered us stops at some of the other amazing attractions within Yellowstone. JR is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. We had a great picnic lunch at the end to wrap things up. This tour really saved us, as we were able to enter Yellowstone through the north entrance, which the public couldn't access due to recent flooding. If you're visiting Yellowstone, especially if you only have one day to spare, I highly recommend this tour.
