It can be windy & rough but the vessel is capable and it adds to the experience. We had so much fun.

Great 2.5 hour trip! Rough conditions but the boat was comfortable and crew confident. Would do it all again 👍

We had a highly disappointing and frustrating experience with this cruise booked through Viator. Our group of five paid $825 in total, and due to an unavoidable tyre puncture, we arrived at 1:55 PM—just 25 minutes after the 1:30 PM check-in time. We clearly explained the situation upon arrival, but were refused boarding immediately without any discussion or consideration. The response from staff was blunt and dismissive; we were simply told “no” and informed that the boat had already departed. They claimed they had tried calling multiple times, but we had no network coverage in that area, making it impossible to receive those calls, which was completely beyond our control. What makes this experience even worse is the complete lack of flexibility or basic customer care. Despite the genuine circumstances, there was no option to reschedule, no partial refund, and no goodwill gesture of any kind. It felt like policy was used as a reason to keep the full payment without providing any service. For a company handling paid experiences, this level of rigidity and lack of empathy is unacceptable. All five of us lost the full amount with absolutely no resolution, which feels entirely unfair. I strongly recommend others think carefully before booking, as if anything goes wrong—even due to unavoidable circumstances—you should not expect any support, flexibility, or accountability.

Brilliant. Great crew. Beautiful area. Skilled boatman. Fur seals, sea lions, eagles. Wonderful. Cut to the chase? Get on the boat! If you don’t feel better when you get back, check your pulse. You may be dead!

Make sure your camera is fully charged to get plenty of photos! Jackets provided are good quality but dress warm underneath.

We enjoyed the trip. We loved visiting the seals and skull rock (wished the boat would have circled around it). Unfortunately the boat lost an engine and our fun speedboat was a very slow ride back. We spoke to some people that went the day earlier and their ride had been compromised by a problem with the wheel on the boat.

This 2.5-hour wilderness cruise is an absolute "must-do" that offers a perspective of Wilsons Promontory you simply cannot get from the land. Whether you're a local or a first-time visitor, this cruise is "worth every cent" for its unique views of the southernmost tip of mainland Australia.

Spectacular scenery, well organised and informative. Travelled on a sunny day in April, recommend warm clothes as it is about 10 degrees cooler on the water, if you get sea sick sit at the back of the boat, although we were at the very front and had no issues, and a pretty calm day though. Well worth it!
