Please check the Windsor Castle website for any specific aspects of the castle you wish to visit as it may be closed on the day you wish to travel but the castle itself will be open to visitors (i.e State Apartments etc).

What To Expect

Windsor Castle

08:30 - Pick-up from Victoria & 09:00am pick-up from Earls Court. 09:00 - Travel to Windsor. 10:00 - Arrive in Windsor. Entrance into Windsor Castle is included with free time to explore the grounds at your own pace. 13:00 - Depart Windsor. *Your driver will advise you on meeting times for returning to London* 14:00 Tour will arrive back in Earls Court, London, at approximately this time. There may be an additional drop-off at Victoria if time allows. We do not recommend booking anything in London until after 16:00 just in case.

This trip was exactly as expected : a comfortable ride to and from Windsor Castle with enough time allowed to explore the castle and the adjacent St. George Chapel. As a residence for recent and current monarchs, this is an important site to see. The guide was informative and friendly, and he clearly explained when and where to meet for the ride back. I felt he cared for the passengers well. I would recommend this trip for anyone who wants to explore beyond London, but return the same day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Budapest Castle with Lilla. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the castle and Budapest, and she shared fascinating information in an engaging and easy-to-follow way. Lilla was also very pleasant to listen to, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. Her enthusiasm and expertise brought the site to life, and we left with a much deeper appreciation of its history. We highly recommend her to anyone visiting Budapest.

Wow, this is a skip the line tour. It wasn’t skip the long walk. From the parking lot to actually entering, Windsor castle was quite a hike that included stairs and a large hill. We really enjoyed touring the castle, and the information provided by the tour guide.

There was no issue with booking this tour, the pick up, the tour guide or the driver. The issue came upon arrival at Windsor Castle. There were so many tour and school groups that it took so long to get in and through security that we had very little time to see the castle. This was only a half day tour and the pick up returning to London was at 1 PM. We did not get into the castle until after 11am. Our tour guide was very nice and made some arrangements with another tour that returned to London 5p, if people wanted to stay that long. Unfortunately, that was not an option for me. Or, as it seems, for many of the other people on this particular tour. So it was disappointing, not to have enough time to see the entire castle or the town. I would take this tour again maybe at less busy time.

Great guide, very informative and the tour allows you to see the castle at your own pace. The guide played some classic British rock on the way back too!

A decent experience overall, but a few things held it back from being worth the price. The drop-off and pick-up location did not match, which left us turned around on the way back. A small logistical fix that would make a real difference. Our guide was friendly and clearly enthusiastic, but his knowledge of Windsor felt surface-level. We got a handful of historical highlights, but nothing that went deeper than what you’d find on a quick Google search. For a guided tour, you want someone who truly knows the place. Honestly, I’m not sure what the tour added over booking an Uber and buying tickets independently. If the value is supposed to be the expertise and convenience, this one fell short on both.
Relaxing experience not time rushed.
