Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800, it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle. (If option selected.)

Kevin, our tour guide, and David, our driver, were great. Kevin is a wealth of information which made the whole trip fantastic. I would tour with them again. We had ample time in each location to explore in our own.

Stonehenge and Windsor were great. Wish we could have stayed a bit more at Windsor. Oxford not so great. Could enter most buildings because they were either about to close or were for students only.

Guide Saul and Driver Bill were fantastic. Had an amazing time. Just as much time on the bus as spent at the sites but well worth the adventure.

Our guide Saul and driver Bill gave us a wonderful tour today! Saul was super informative and knowledgeable about the history of the sites and cities. We also really appreciated their punctuality and rules on the bus— like no smelly food or loud talking from passengers! Made for a comfortable ride.

Great day trip from London to catch a few points of interest. Our guide, Peter, was amazing! Shared lots of info with lively conversation and good humor, while also allowing some quiet time between sites. Clear instructions made it easy to know what to expect and where to meet up. Michael, our driver, made the ride very comfortable. Highly recommend!!!
