What To Expect
Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800, it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle. (If option selected.)

5.00I’d definitely recommend this experience if you want to get the big sights off your list as a day trip from London. You’ll be spending most of your time on a bus, and I wish I had brought a book for that reason. Saúl was great, super organized and offered a lot of great information. The tour is pretty fast-paced so make sure you follow the guides timeline. Two ladies didn’t make it back in time and we had to move on without them. Saul had warned about the timeline, so just make sure you follow the schedule.

5.00Took a tour with Evans Tours led by our excellent tour guide Cameron and the driver Barrington. Cameron was a delight - he was so informative, personable and witty. He really made the day enjoyable and balanced the right amount of information with breaks in the bus rides between sights. Got to see Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford and he was able to share some fun facts and great stories along with all of the information regarding the attractions. Barrington was also so pleasant and a wonderful chauffeur for the day! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get a sample of each of these attractions.

5.00My friends and I took a trip to Windsor Castle/Stonehenge/Oxford and it was a fantastic day filled with beautiful and historical sights! Our awesome guide Cameron was filled with interesting and informative knowledge that made the day even more special! Barrington too was a safe and sound driver. I would highly recommend requesting Cameron as your guide-he was amazing! Thanks for the memories!!!

5.00We did the oxford Windsor stonehenge trip with Cameroon (guide) and Barrington (Driver) … we had the most amazing day with Cameroon keeping us thoroughly entertained, informed and educated all at the same time … his energy is awesome, has very insightful facts n figures and historical anecdotes, all delivered with a generous dollop of wit and humor. What made Cameroon really stand apart was his personal interaction with each and every member of the group, asking after them and responding patiently to questions. Barringtons driving was smooth as cream… hats off to both for making our day! A big thank you :) Review by: A very happy Anup and his happier family :)
