Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800, it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle. (If option selected.)

Great tour but for how much driving we did our tour guide did not talk or educate us along the way while we passed many cities. I wish I would have learned more.

Thanks to Jes and Lucian for this amazing day. The only negative was that there was no French translation with the audioguides. There was also a problem with the audioguides as the sound was jerky all the time. The course was very well organized and we had good weather.

Overall the tour was amazing. Our guide Richard was very kind, and did a great job maximizing the amount of time we had at each of our destinations. You can tell he was well versed in touring as well as the history of each place.

It was an awesome experience. Richard was very knowledgeable of the history of the places we visited. He was very attentive and kind. Even though it is a fast pacing tour, we got to do a lot and Richard had everything planned to the small detail to ensure a we had smooth transition and a memorable experience! Thank you to Evan Evans Tours, to Richard and our phenomenal driver!

Two amazing pieces of history unveiled in a unique way by Evan Evans tours and our guide Cameron (don't call me Cal). Special thanks also to our driver Malique. A perfect way to experience these two unique places.

I like that it was not so intense tour. You haf plenty of time to visit everything. I liked the coach driver Lucien because he drove with so much care and Saul the tour guide because he gave a lot of info. and was there to help whenever you need the info. I booked with all entrances included so everything was ok. In Oxford the guide recommended a rooftop restaurant which was quite lovely.
