Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Extremely disappointed with Evan Evans experience at Windsor Castle - Stranded in freezing weather with two children (one infant) in an unfamiliar place -Guide failed to inform about Guard Changing Ceremony → exit gates closed unexpectedly -No call, no announcement, no effort to contact us despite having our UK number -Bus left without proper checks or communication -Very limited taxi/train options, kids highly distressed -Clear negligence and lack of duty of care -Seeking urgent assistance, full refund & compensation -Still stranded and awaiting help. -Booking Ref: WJR072900

Our tour guide, Kevin, and driver David were excellent! Kevin went through the history behind the 3 locations we visited with humor so we were learning abs laughing all day. David drive the bus carefully and smoothly so we could nap while going between locations. They both made it a very enjoyable tour.

Kevin was a great guide. Wish we had more time in the towns of Windsor and Oxford but a lot to see in a day! Stonehenge was neat to see.

Honestly, our tour guide , Kevin played a big role in making the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford day trip such a great experience. They were friendly, approachable, and kept the whole day well organised, which really helped everything run smoothly. At Windsor Castle and Stonehenge, their explanations were clear, engaging, and easy to follow, sharing interesting stories and background that made both places feel much more meaningful. In Oxford, even though they mainly talked us through the city rather than guiding us the entire time, their commentary was still helpful and informative, giving us context about the university, traditions, and famous landmarks before we explored on our own. They were always patient, cheerful, and happy to answer questions, which made the tour feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, their positive attitude and enthusiasm truly enhanced the whole trip and made it a memorable experience.

Kevin did a great job making the trip amusing, fun and very interesting. Would recommend 100%! We had enough time to roam around on our own and still have time to learn some history lessons.

Pablo is a great guide! Waking up with stories about royal family, having coffee and croissant is a great way to start a day. After you enter 18th century halls of the castle, trip to Stonehenge and tour around Oxford with mulled wine at the end.

Our whole-day trip with Ana and Jody was great! Ana was a wonderful tour guide, super knowledgeable about all the stops and giving out really interesting fun facts as well. We really enjoyed this tour despite the cold! Each stop was absolutely worth it, and the bus was comfortable. Big thanks to Ana and Jody!
