Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. If you’re considering doing just one day trip tour out of London this was a great one. Our tour guide Robert was so knowledgeable and taught us so much about British history throughout the day. He made the info interesting for all participants, including the kids on the tour. Our driver Lucien was also safe and efficient getting us to all the sights. Glad we picked this tour and would definitely recommend.

An excellent experience to hit famous attractions outside London in a day! Our guide, Robert, was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about all of our destinations. Coach bus was comfortable and readily accessed all of our sites. While I wish we did have slightly more time for gift shops, I understand the rush as we covered a lot in almost 12 hours. Recommend bringing a lunch if you do not want to pay for one on the tour as it is not included.

It was a lovely trip thanks to Robert and Lucian! We definitely enjoyed our day at Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford. Robert has a nice anecdotes to tell and know a lot of fun facts! Wish there could be more time for every stop but I know it’s difficult to manage it as all the spots are quite far away from each other. So the price could be lower. Nonetheless we had fun and that’s the most important :)

In total it was short time for all 3 places - but the guide and his look on the time made it perfectly fit to the plan. So thanks to Saul - or guide - for good coordination and the information! Also thanks to Patrick - our driver today. The bus was very clean and we felt safe during the whole trip.
