Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800, it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle. (If option selected.)

What an amazing experience! All 3 stops were bucket list items! For the time we had, the day trip option was perfect! We really appreciated Kevin’s explanations and sense of humor!

This was an incredible tour. Some have said it’s not a lot of time at each site, but for me this was the perfect pace. I got to see everything I wanted then on to the next. Kevin was a phenomenal tour guide as well—incredibly knowledgeable and kind while hosting the tour in both English and Japanese, and keeping us all on time. He’s funny as well! Laquan was also an awesome driver and super friendly as well. We got back to London around 7:30 leaving time for dinner. What a great way to spend the day!

The trip was fantastic and especially our guide Kevin! His knowledge is so deep and informative and his humor really made it quite enjoyable. Highly recommend and if you can get Kevin you won’t be disappointed! Also Laquan our driver was super nice and took care of us the whole ride! Great team!

Kevin was super knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and kept us on schedule and adhering to the rules (despite a multicultural tour group who had various expectations/behaviors) which was much* appreciated. This was a great day trip and we were able to fit in a LOT in a very short amount of time!

Our driver Russell was great. Smooth sailing. Robert our guide was knowledgeable but not remarkable. Our time at Windsor castle felt very rushed with absolutely no assistance or guidance from him. What was really disheartening was once we got to Oxfordshire. He took off and was walking fast and left half of the group at the cross walk. We lost audio contact with him as he discussed the sights. Once we were able to connect with the group again the audio portion worked periodically at best. I think this tour is great if you want to say you have been somewhere but not really get a full taste of it. We spent more time traveling on the bus than we did at any one location.

Comfortable coach, excellent driving by Jody. Godfrey was pleasant and knowledgeable. He ran a tight ship which I appreciate. The sound was sometimes difficult to hear, must stay close to him to get it better. Visits was a bit short for the Windsor Castle, I would have wanted more time but given there were three stops, it made sense

My tour guide Godfrey and Jody our busdriver, were absolutely fantastic! Everything was on schedule so no time was wasted and the information provided was top tier and fantastic. My friends and I had the best time! I’d definitely recommend it to everyone especially if you can somehow request them!
