Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800, it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle. (If option selected.)

If you have a full day to spare, SIGN UP FOR THIS TRIP! Anna was our tour guide and Jody was our bus driver... They were PHENOMENAL! Anna spoke fluently in English and Spanish and gave us all the need to know and nice to know info. I checked in at the bus station at 0730 and we made it back to the bus stop at 1930, so just about a full 12 hours of adventuring, but absolutely worth every second of it!

A fantastic excursion and highly recommended. Our guide Ana was great: very cordial, fun and punctual. He knew how to tell everything very clearly and make the trip enjoyable and interesting. The tour of Windsor, Stonehenge and Oxford was lovely; perhaps a little quick, but it is understandable considering that you do everything in one day. In short, a very complete and well organized experience. Thank you, Ana, for making it so special!

Excellent Ana and Judy, even though we did not take the tickets for the inside of the castle, showed us very nice spots around. At Oxford he showed us many very important places of the university as well as curious facts. I totally recommend them

We really appreciated her sense of humor and the way she connected with everyone in the group. The whole experience was smooth, well-organized, and truly enjoyable. Thank you, Jodi and Ana, for a fantastic day!

We took a day trip to Windsor, Stonehenge and Oxford, which I definitely recommend. There’s enough time to explore Windsor and Stonehenge, so it’s a good option to combine those at the same trip. When moving between the locations, our guide, Phil, was doing an amazing job keeping us entertained and informed, but not overwhelming us with the information. Our driver Adan was also super nice. In Oxford we saw the main points, so it’s more of a sneak peak of the city, but it’s encouraging to come back. Trip was very well organized, combining 3 beautiful places, with great guide and driver. Highly recommended.
