Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800, it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle. (If option selected.)

Mannon and Mentor were great guides around each location, and were great at giving us the inside scoop on the best parts of each. Really enjoyed the tour of Oxford even though it was pouring rain.

The meeting point was not specific. Very generalized. No information was given what or who to look for. Communication was poor. We understood to meet at 8:00. We arrived before 8:00 but by the time we found someone to direct us the tour had departed. Can you imagine the disappointment? Not to mention the huge expense! I can hope I can get a refund.

Our tour guide was excellent. We got to see three major areas of England in one day. However, most of the day is spent on the bus. If you have the time, I would book these as separate trips. But if you need to fit it all in one day, then this is a good option.

Enjoyable, but long day….(a lot of time between locations on the bus) . Our tour guide , Robert, was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information and interesting stories., a great tour guide. Loved Windsor Castle, Stonehenge (had been here before), and Oxford was very cool, loved the historic atmosphere. Only wished we had more time here to go thru the shops and walk around. All in all, a good tour!
