Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. The tour to Windsor Castle, Oxford, and Stonehenge was an unforgettable and beautifully paced experience, made even better by our guide, Godfrey. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing fascinating historical insights and stories that brought each location to life while keeping the journey engaging and well organised. His friendliness, clear explanations, and genuine passion for British history made the tour both informative and enjoyable, and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting a comprehensive and memorable day trip!

What an amazing day. From the beginning of the day, Godfrey greeted us with kindness and humor. He’s a funny guy, he is! He kept us engaged throughout our tour and the entirety of the day. Even at a few points I seen other tour companies not talking to their people like Godfrey did! Awesome time, great adventure and would do it all again. Driver was kind and got us where we needed to be in a timely manner and safely. Overall - great trip! Thanks!
