Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Lovely time and David and Malik were terrific. Our time in Windsor felt a bit rushed, but you only have so much time in one day.

Everyone should at least visit Windsor Castle once in their lifetime. Great value for money as you can sign up at no extra cost for the annual pass and return in the same year as there is much to take in. So ornate and clearly still used for state visits. Such history. And it is where the Queen is buried too. An excellent visit. It's one way round so you don't miss out on seeing anything which I liked.

We have been with the guide Saul and the driver of the Wieslaw bus very much at ease, it has been explained very correctly and, above all, it has adapted the three sites of the excursion perfectly changing the order so that we were affected as little as possible by the intermittent rain. The three very nice places and the time in each place: Oxford a little fair, more being lunch time, but for the castle of windsor and Stonehenge the perfect and suitable.
