Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.

Simon is was a great guide, mentioned all the important and at the same time interesting facts, we had like half the time also for ourselves to explore on our own, so that was a 10/10!

A great way to look outside London with the comfort of a guide and driver. The Godfrey guide speaks English and Spanish perfectly and with his humor made the day fun too. Advice!

The experience was great. Kevin was an enjoyable tour guide. Knowledgeable and funny, and knows how to manage the group with timing etc. David drove timely and carefully. The audio aid was a great add-on too. Made it convenient for everyone to during the walking tour of Oxford. It’s quite a long tour given the three sites but it felt jam-packed, and it’s value for money. The Stonehenge site was interesting and very intriguing, the Windsor castle is also nice but we had to wait in line for 30mins in the cold.

there is a lot of driving and very little sightseeing. We got a little bit better than an hour at each location. There wasn’t even time to go through the whole Windsor castle with the earphones before we have to be back at the bus. There wasn’t time to grab food. Stonehedge was fine and had ample time. Cambridge was dark and freezing, but out of the 11 hours only about four were sighting. The highlight of the trip was Simon the tour guide. He was fabulous and did his job perfectly.

This tour was very informative and interesting. We have seen and experienced a lot. The tour was packed with information and we still had free time for personal activities like sightseeing. This tour I highly recommend. Our guide was called Simon and he went to great lengths to explain everything to us. But the condition is good English. Although he speaks very clear English, which I also partly understood. I highly recommend this tour.
