As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice (The whole castle is closed on December 25-26).

1.00It was cold and raining. We had to wait an hour out in the cold before Windsor opened. Then at Oxford they forced us to exit the bus and be out in the rain for an hour. We each got very sick.

5.00Stonehenge was beautiful and amazing! Windsor Castle was great! Was surprised and grateful to be able to give my respect to the Queen! The ride (bus) was comfortable and warm! Tour guide was knowledgeable. The earphones/device did not work the entire trip but Andy made up for that on the bus. Overall, great tour!
