Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.

The experience was great. Kevin was an enjoyable tour guide. Knowledgeable and funny, and knows how to manage the group with timing etc. David drove timely and carefully. The audio aid was a great add-on too. Made it convenient for everyone to during the walking tour of Oxford. It’s quite a long tour given the three sites but it felt jam-packed, and it’s value for money. The Stonehenge site was interesting and very intriguing, the Windsor castle is also nice but we had to wait in line for 30mins in the cold.

there is a lot of driving and very little sightseeing. We got a little bit better than an hour at each location. There wasn’t even time to go through the whole Windsor castle with the earphones before we have to be back at the bus. There wasn’t time to grab food. Stonehedge was fine and had ample time. Cambridge was dark and freezing, but out of the 11 hours only about four were sighting. The highlight of the trip was Simon the tour guide. He was fabulous and did his job perfectly.

This tour was very informative and interesting. We have seen and experienced a lot. The tour was packed with information and we still had free time for personal activities like sightseeing. This tour I highly recommend. Our guide was called Simon and he went to great lengths to explain everything to us. But the condition is good English. Although he speaks very clear English, which I also partly understood. I highly recommend this tour.

The tour guide Kelvin is very nice and knowledgeable. However, I wish the planning team will consider more time allowing at Windsor Castle. We didn’t hv change to see the doll house. Actually the whole bus none of us hv time to see the doll house. Feel such a waste for the entrance ticket and drive all the way here.

We booked the trip for my birthday. The tour was very well organized, the bus came always on time. Saul was an experienced tour guide who provided the right amount on information on all three locations. He was friendly and took care of all passengers. The driver Ahmed drove safely and always greeted us very friendly. Thank you for the nice day!

1 Japanese guy on a tour of about 25 people! I applied for this tour because it was guided in Japanese, but despite being one person, each place was carefully explained in Japanese for me! Thanks Kevin🙌😭 It was a very fulfilling day for me, as I wanted to spend a limited amount of time visiting famous places rather than spending a lot of time exploring each of them! It is well enjoyed even during the short winter months. Stonehenge can be pretty cold when it's rainy or strong...? The sun is down by the time I come to Oxford in December, but I'm happy because the Christmas market is open and I got a beautiful night view!
