Please note: Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays . St. George's Chapel is open for visitors on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays (and closed Sundays).
As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice

What To Expect
Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800,[1] it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle.

3.00Tour includes the main local sights, held in approximately 12 hours. I do not recommend this tour for people who speak Portuguese, believing that they will understand Spanish, the guide was British and the guide's Spanish was filled with accents that sometimes the people who spoke Spanish on the tour did not understand. I recommend the company to hire guides who speak Spanish as a first language or a guide fluent in Spanish, although we find Spanish easy, this language requires a lot of knowledge and practice.

5.00Our guide Aaron was genuinely amazing - I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with such extensive knowledge of relevant history. He made a 12 hour tour fly by, was fascinating to listen to him. Probably the best tour I have ever done.

We did the tour in Spanish and we honestly took for a native speaker...Vanislav got us there safe and sound and was quite efficient. The day was long, but we learned so much and so saw so many beautiful things. Would highly recommend this tour and our tour team. Thank you!

5.00Great way to get 3 wonderful stops in on the same day. You don’t get much time at each stop, but it’s enough time to see everything. Angela our guide, and Ahmed our driver were excellent at keeping us on time for each stop. It is a long day, I recommend packing snacks and a resealable water bottle for the day. There are places to grab food at the stops, but you pay tourist prices. They also will not allow hot foods or ice cream on the bus, so people don’t get sick from the smells on the bus and to keep the bus clean.
Angela gets an A+++ GREAT DAY!

5.00Angela was a wonderful tour guide A+++! We had an amazing day at Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath! I highly recommend this tour! It’s a long day, but well thought out and organized. This tour offers headphones so you can hear your tour guide better. I saw other tours in the area that didn’t have them and realized what a value it was for us. Angela was SO knowledgeable and was happy to answer questions! She was kind but firm, which a few in our group needed. Ahmed was a fantastic driver! Very professional and friendly!

5.00Fantastic tour and one of the highlights of our trip. Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath were all incredible and well worth seeing. Angela was outstanding and made the day enjoyable with great stories, knowledge, and energy throughout the tour. Our bus driver also did an excellent job and made the day smooth and stress free. The itinerary was very well organized, and everything ran perfectly. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting London.
