What To Expect
Your adventure begins in our cozy flight lounge overlooking our most frequent launch site. Savor fresh coffee and snacks as you watch the colorful balloons inflate around you. Once everyone is gathered, your experienced pilots will guide you through a pre-flight safety briefing, after which we'll witness the thrilling final stage of inflation right on the tarmac. As the balloons stand tall, you'll climb aboard and capture a few photos before lifting off into the morning sky. For the next hour, we'll drift along with the winds, utilizing different altitudes to gently steer the balloon towards our landing spot. During this serene journey, soak in the breathtaking views and create lasting memories. Upon landing, the balloon will be deflated, and we'll whisk you back to the airport for a celebratory champagne toast, captivating stories about ballooning history, and tales from your pilots' adventures.

5.00I had to give a rating to be able to leave a review. The 5 stars is misleading because the flight was cancelled twice— once for rain and the second day it was too windy. However, we were informed in a timely manner and the money was quickly refunded, so in that sense it does get a good review. Next time I am in the area I will book for earlier in my trip so that if the weather doesn’t cooperate I can hopefully still manage to fit it in

5.00Incredible views of Sonoma Valley on a perfect morning! I've flown before in other parts of the country and this was by far the best experience! Our pilot Jeff took us on a masterful flight. This guy is good! He kept us engaged and entertained the entire flight. I was very impressed by Sonoma Ballooning's operation. The booking process, the flight, the landing and the champagne at the end was all done so smoothly and professionally. This was the experience I was waiting for. Thanks guys. You'll see us again!

Our pilot, Mateo, was outstanding—calm, knowledgeable, and experienced. The scenery was breathtaking. Watching the sunrise from above and floating peacefully over beautiful landscapes was truly magical. It was an experience we will never forget.

5.00What a memorable experience. Mateo our captain was friendly, engaging and had a lot of fun facts to share along with his great flying ability. They were flexible with our booking which had to be re-scheduled due to weather. Had a very special ceremony at the end of the flight too. I would definitely recommend this group!

5.00This experience will be better than any expectation you have. So smooth, the views are like nothing you can imagine pilot Jeff was funny, and very informative on everything that was going on. Such a smooth ride. You’re like a cloud floating through the beautiful sky of Sonoma!! It won’t be our last time flying in a hot air balloon.
