My wife loves wine and was looking foward to do some tastings in Nelson during our honeymoon. We booked the Nelson tour using the website. We called to check if our accommodation was in their pick up range as we were out of the cbd area, and they had no issues with that. On the day of the tour Phil, our wonderful guide, picked us up from our accommodation in a very beautiful and comfortable Mercedes, as we were the only two booked for the tour, it was a great upgrade to a private tour. He asked us about our wine preferences and knowledge and used this information during the tour to cater to our preferences. We aren't fans of Sav Blanc, yet in a region famous for producing it, Phil took us on a tour focusing on vineyards that have an appreciation for rarer varieties in the region. In one of the wineries we bought some art, so he added a stop to another art studio on the way that we enjoyed immensely! We had a great lunch at one of the cellars, my wife used to work as a Chef and was very pleased with the food options. Discussion between my wife and our guide Phil focused on the wines and their possibilities with food. It was really a tailored experience, our knowledge being beginner+advanced, Phil and our tasting hosts were able to simultaneously cater to include both of us in the learning and experience so we both got a lot out of the experience. Phil has vast knowledge of the region including very on point restaurant recommendations. Phil sense of humor and knowledge made the day go very fast as we had lots of fun! We loved it so much we did the Malbourough wine tour as well. The price is absolutely worth the experience as they include a quality lunch and tastings. It was great fun!! Thank you Phil for being just the best! We will be back, looking forward to other surprises you can find for us when we return.

The wine was very good—I won’t name wineries because they don’t visit the same ones every day—we especially enjoyed meeting the owner/winemaker at one of our stops, but what made the tour pleasant and memorable for us was our guide, Phil, who possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of the area wineries and was a wonderful conversationalist, driver, and purveyor of all things New Zealand. Thanks for a great visit!

From start to finish this was an absolutely brilliant experience that we would highly recommend to anyone who is considering it. Not just a wine tour but a trip around the local area and waterfront. Our driver, Sonia was a wealth of knowledge about the area and the vineyards we visited. Very friendly, easy going and nothing was s problem. Small groups are always the best way to go.

Thoughtful, ethical, knowledgeable, and enjoyable. This personalized tour experience was perhaps the most high quality we experienced in all of New Zealand. We did multiple wine tours with this company. We were lucky enough to have Zane as our guide. Zane is exceedingly knowledgeable about food and wine, making our wine tasting experience quite enjoyable and informative. Zane also has great stories to share as someone who is born and bred in New Zealand and someone who has traveled a great deal as well. We were incredibly impressed that Zane could name every tree and bird we asked about on the road. We learned a great deal about New Zealand's history, topography, climate, and culture. Zane made a point of taking us to several places that featured art by Maori artists. His understanding of Maori culture and language are impressive and a reflection of his dedication to honoring the land and the people who first inhabited it. We would recommend this company and any of their tours wholeheartedly.

We enjoyed a wonderful day with our guide Michelle exploring 4 wineries and the surrounding countryside. The wineries were fun and more boutique ( we especially enjoyed Flaxmore) than the well known names. We also appreciated Michelle ‘s expansive knowledge about the wineries and the history of the area. An excellent day.
