What To Expect

In this wine tasting, you will sample five distinct premium local wines (two whites, one rosé, two reds), all crafted from local varieties. We will properly explain the characteristics of the wines and the history of the wineries. It's like a little travel around Romania in the heart of Bucharest! What else? Water and a mixed plate of cheese and cuts of meat (cheese only for vegetarians) are also included!

This was easily the nicest bar I visited in Bucharest. Not at all touristy. I was the only one doing a tasting but that didn't detract from the experience. Was given interesting explanations for each wine, then allowed time to enjoy them while nibbling the generous portion of cheeses and cold meats. If I was a local, I'd be a regular in this bar. Book this experience, it's a couple of hours well spent.

Fabulous evening. Our first night in the city. Relaxed atmosphere. A range of Romanian wines (five in total) and a delicious cold meats and cheese platter. Our host gave us lots of information about the wines, grapes and regions. Highly recommend.

My husband was not feeling great, but the tour was very accommodating of the time changed. When we got there, he was still not feeling well so we ended up leaving without the cheese and wine tasting. To make up for it, the owner accommodated and offered make up days but we didn’t have any free time. Overall, we appreciate his compassion and understanding and gave us a couple bottles of wine that we didn’t get to taste. Very nice of him!

This was a most enjoyable experience, tasting a variety if Romanian wines, which were admirably varied in style. I would think that any wine drinker would at least have enjoyed 2 or 3, perhaps all. The accompanying platter of snacks was ideal and of good quality. Each of the wines was explained to us and we were allowed to enjoy everything at our leisure. A good value experience.

Really great wine tasting (5 Romanian wines from different regions; all quite different). The cheese and meat plate were also great. The staff are super nice and welcoming.

The charcuterie platter had several, delicious choices of both cheeses and meats, as well as a jam and honey. The bread was flavorful and warm. The voices of wines were all indigenous varietals that we’d never had before and presented palates different than other wines. The presentation and explanation were excellent.
