What To Expect

First of all we sit all together sharing a table in our family olive grove where we get to introduce our selves. After that, we will have a brief entrance with the history of Greek wine and then the tasting starts with 3-5 different wine varieties from some of the most iconic regions of Greece or Zakynthos. In between there is served some fresh bread and special Greek meze. You are provided also a noting list with the characteristic names of the grape varieties and producers where you can make any note you like. The atmosphere is really relaxing and our goal is to enjoy our time as much, have fun and learn more about wine that we love!

In a very nice place, among the olive trees, a wine tasting received from Panagiotis. Very interesting to hear more about Greek wines! In addition, we got Greek snacks, deliciously fresh and matching the wines.

What a beautiful location nestled among the olive trees. A wonderfully passionate host, Panagiotis, fantastic! The perfect setting: we were able to sample delicious wines and enjoy delicious tapas. Highly recommended!

This is a stellar experience with Panagiotis at the helm of it all. He is a charm, eloquent, a taste for storytelling/history and a knowledge of wine to boot. The event was on a beautiful early summer day in the olive trees of the property, with the winds of the beach breezing through our covered table. We spent nearly 2 hours enjoying stories, historical context and sipping delicious wines, many of which I ended up buying. I would highly recommend you visit with Panagiotis and let him take you on a journey of Greek, but especially Zante wines. You will not regret it!

Had a wine tasting tonight at chilly august. Definitely recommended, the wine tasting is among the olive trees in a beautiful and soothing location. As a teacher at the Vasilikos Summer Academy of Art, I had the pleasure of attending the event. After a general introduction to Greek wine and its history, I was given an in-depth talk about the wine of Zante. Three white wines, a rosé and a delicious dark red wine were available for tasting. I have to say that my respect for the wine produced in Zante has increased significantly. I have learned that wine production here has also improved over the last two decades. The results are worth tasting. This is an experience that is not so easy to have elsewhere. You will feel a deeper connection with the island. Congratulations and thank you.

Really recommend for great wines, local food and a cultural experience! We did a private wine tour with Panagiotis for 5 hours. He picked us up at the hotel, being prepared for the whole day of pure enjoyment. He takes you to local and historcal places off road, without the major touristic crowded places. During the ride he will tell you all about the history of Zakynthos and the agriculture of wines and olives. We ended the tour with a picknick with delicious local products at the beach with a scenic view. He had brought some nice snacks to pair with the wine during the stops. It was a lovely experience!

Excellent experience, the host has a great knowledge of wines, which he presents in the context of the history of Greece and Zakynthos. The quality of wines chosen for tasting was really high. The venue is magical - a family olive grove with its own stories. And still can’t decide if we liked the wines or meze more! The selection of local products pairing excellent with the wine was a cherry on the top of this experience. If you’re looking for something slow, genuine and honest - definitely visit Panagiotis!
A must try for anyone visiting Zakynthos.

Great atmosphere and experience trying different wines of Greece. Very informative around the history of each wine and how they pair with different foods etc. The surrounding in the olive grove is also beautiful. A must try for anyone into wine and trying new things.
