We had a great time. The tour was prompt starting and the driver was great. We went to the chocolate factory first and found out about the history of Cailler chocolate - it was a great interactive museum experience, but the best bit was tasting the chocolates at the end! Then we went on to the town of Gruyeres which we loved. We had a tour of the cheese making and saw how the cheese is made and had a tasting of three types of gruyeres cheese - all yummy. Then our driver took us to the town which was very picturesque, and we had fondue of course in one of the many restaurants there. It took about an hour to get there from Lausanne. Nice to be out in the countryside and see the mountains and lake it is stunning scenery. Great trip highly recommended. Thank you.

Description of where to get the bus isn’t quite right. From Metro entrance, cross the street so that you’re on the lake side, and wait by the parking lot for Chateau d’Ouchy. We enjoyed the tour of the Cailler chocalate factory — just realize you don’t see much of the actual factory; it’s more of a history of chocolate coming to Switzerland. But there’s a room where you can sample their chocolates! Gruyere cheese museum was interesting too. We only had about an hour to look around in the town after. If you want to see the castle, bring your own lunch!

Don’t even consider this travel / tour organizer. The bus simply never arrived, no explanation ever received. So while it is possible to get a refund, that’s beside the point: I had planned my weekend around this trip, so I wasted a whole lot of precious time. Appalling on their part.
