  I recommend this agency that managed to organize my trip to the Nubra Valley perfectly. Very good organization and responsiveness from the manager for my last minute request. The driver was very friendly, safe and knows his area perfectly, he wanted to share his culture and his good places to eat or sleep with the locals. I recommend this agency promoting responsible and authentic tourism. Thank you Thinlay!

  We had a wonderful trip to Srinagar and Leh Ladakh. The entire trip was for 12 days and during that time we had very good experience from the start to finish . Dorzay and his team are knowledgeable about the locales and also set expectations on what to expect in each of the places we had been . Especially remote places like Tsomoriri, the landscape is amazing , other than that it is a very remote place, we know what to expect ! The team is very patient , and worked with us to meet our needs and adjust schedules too. We were little nervous about the acclamatization initially , Dorzay came to meet with us on the day we arrived in Leh to boost our confidence . Overall the trip was very good and special shout out for drive Ali for making the journey very safe and enjoyable.The only area to improve for Active adventure and Dorzay would be to share a detailed and confirmed schedule atleast 2 weeks prior to the trip! Finally will strongly endorse Dorzay and team for folks visiting the region!

  I found Active Adventures on TripAdvisor with good reviews & decided to use them & what a great decision it was. With a terrain like Ladakh one needs a good Travel Agent with in depth info on the local conditions. Dorjay, the owner provided us with a car & driver Ali right through our 9 day trip of Ladakh & was always available on call. We started off in Leh through Khardung La to Nubra Valley from where we visited Turtuk, the last village before Pakistan. We then did Tso Pangong, Hanle & Tso Moriri each spectacular in its own way. The altitude in the last 3 places are not the easiest to visit, so good hotels are required. Dorjay made sure we had the best possible accomodation under the circumstances. Even though it was summer the day time temperatures to the night time could vary like crazy...by 15°. The landscape was picture perfect with Pangong Lake the icing on the cake....simply mesmerizing. Our driver cum guide Ali was very good @ his job & a good human being too, ever ready to help fellow travellers stranded or broken down. Dorjay fav phrase ' No problem Sir'

  The trip was very beautifully crafted and we explored the most beautiful parts of Ladakh. Me and my wife are both hikers and love to explore the wilderness. And there’s nothing like exploring the far flung villages, uphill monasteries and colurful prayer flags waving on top of the higher passes. Our Ladakh tour was the most amazing so far among all our trips around the world.

  We enjoyed the trip with Norbu and his guiding and driving skills are highly appreciable. We went Umlingla and Hanle it was amazing part of our trip. Highly recommended norboo and his team !

  Mr. Dorjay made our first trip to Ladakh the most memorable. He made the best arrangements for us in terms of driver, cars, hotels. Our drivers Mushtaq and Lotus were just the best! They took care of us and were experts on these tricky roads, knew all the right places to stop by for food and toilet breaks. Overall the itinerary prepared by Active Adventures was brilliant. It did not exhaust us and the whole week felt like a breeze. We did experience some AMS symptoms on the second day in Leh, and Mr. Dorjay was so sweet that he came down to our room to meet us and see how we were holding up. He motivated us and asked us to keep our spirits high for the trip. We got well the next day and carried on with the trip. That’s just amazing service, something I have not seen before. I highly recommend planning with Active Adventures if its your first time in Ladakh!

  Our trip went so well & smooth ...very well organised by Dorjay ji... Amazing views of ladakh🤩😱 , good home stay & special thanks to "Tashi ji (Professional Driver)" for his very patient response to our every doubts , handling of vehicle by him in tough terrains smoothly in a way that we didn't really felt any motion sickness ...so that we enjoyed every scenic view of ladakh☺️🙏..very recommended professional driver in ladakh!!! 6 days went so fast ... I loved the whole trip where I realised that people of ladakh & nature were closed to each other & this trip also given a chance to meet many lovely pure hearted people around in ladakh, loved their perspective towards happy life☺️🙂 Finally for all this to happen , there is a man behind all these is "Dorjay ji (owner of active adventure)"....only unhappy thing is I didn't met him even once to see him & tell him personally thank you ...all went through phone ....handled our whole trip at ease !!!
