Our tour guide was really nice and I enjoyed the information. However, please be wary that tickets to enter the Colosseum is NOT included. We had to purchase our tickets separately and then NEVER got our tickets afterward so we could enter the Forums. We asked the guide for our tickets and she said we had to text some number to get the tickets, I tried calling and texting the number but nothing went through. I don’t understand why she couldn’t text her manager and tell them who wanted their tickets especially since it was such a small group. I then called the people who we had to meet up with and the meeting point and asked if we could get our tickets and he said “YES, YES… she will send them.” We NEVER got it… A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Absolutely DO NOT USE THIS TOUR company!!!!! Scam artists!!! The tell you to meet somewhere and basically no one showed. Don’t be fooled by they’re reviews!! They don’t even have a number to even call. Prob not a real company just scamming tourists!!

We booked online to meet the tour guide knowing we had to get the tickets on the day for the actual Colosseum but did'nt realise there would be more than 3 hours wait after the first part of our tour before we could enter the actual Colosseum ruins itself. We could not wait unfortunately on as we had to catch our flight home. Full refund was offered straight away and back on my card two days later - very impressed. The tour Rep Kristine was at the kiosk before our meeting time and was very friendly and helpful. Thank you and better luck next time. Marian * Ireland

This was a bait and switch situation. We thought we had bought a tour of the coliseum. It turned out it was only a tour of the exterior. I’ve used Viator before with a better result!

It was a very unfortunate experience. We did not manage to enter the Colosseum due to wrong information by the organiser of the guided tour on times. The reservation we had did not at all correspond to available times. We missed it! Even worse is the fact that eventhough they admitted they had not informed us properly and promised to refund the cost, afterwards they keep on not refunding now that we returned back home. Very insulting behaviour by Arena tours

Waste of money, the guide did not tell anything useful or informative.. the way its written on the plan it feels that the guide will be with us inside the Colosseum, but he just spent his 1 hour taking us to the ticket counter and bringing back. We could have done this ourselves, so it was a waste..

Read the description carefully! Guided tour of the Roman Forum only. Tickets to the Coliseum are not included. However, priority is given to buy a ticket to the Coliseum and you do not have to wait in line, very worth it! Easy to get guided during the waiting period until the Colosseum slot time occurred, about two hours from when we solved the ticket. Some unstructured info at the beginning of the tour about how the setup was. But plenty of nice staff who received and the guide (Julia?) Be nice and shared very interesting information with us. Recommend booking the tour, but as I said read carefully so that you are aware of what is included :-)
