We had Hiroko as our tour guide and she was so lovely and made sure we had an amazing time. We went to Shirakawa-go and it was stunning, especially in the snow. Hiroko was really informative and we learnt a lot, even while in the village. We would 100% recommend booking this tour, best part of my trip!! Thank you again, Alicia and Richard

We had a great day with Heroko as tour guide and Yasushi as assistant. It was very heavy snow but both went out of their way to ensure our day ran smoothly & we got to see everything we wanted. Shirakawago was amazing in the snow & the bus gets there nice & early so you can enjoy it at a quiet time before the big crowds arrive. The gold leaf experience & craft painting were lots of fun. I would thoroughly recommend this tour it was great full day.

What a magical day. We went in the winter and there was heavy snow, it felt like we were walking around in a dream. There were other tour groups but it was not expecially crowded, the only very busy area was the bus stand for the shuttle bus so we'd recommend walking if you're able. Our guide, Miss Hiroko, is a very sweet lady, she was so energetic and passionate, she made us laugh a lot and when there was a delay due to snow she filled our time with facts, information, little quizzes and regular updates on our arrival time. The roads were covered in snow but we felt safe with Mr Hirosei driving and Mr Yasushi, who was assising the tour, also had a lot of energy and humour. We had a very special day because the weather was extremely cold (-6°C) and the snow was heavy, but the Shirakawa-go residents still said it was nothing for them! We tried the Wagyu, local grilled Mochi and the unrefined sweet Sake - we loved the sake most and went back for more! It tastes like sugary cereal milk and the alcohol is undetectable so quite dangerous! We really recommend it °.•☆ We did the half day tour as we had already explored Kenrouken gardens the day prior, but I imagine the whole day tour would continue to be a fantastic experience with the added fun of doing your own arts and crafts to take home. The value for money is really good and so much love is poured into this tour. Thank you so much to the Panoramic tours team and especially to Miss Hiroko for being such a wonderful guide! Best wishes from Vicki (Victoria) and Dominic from England °.•♡
