Great tour experience. We did the half day tour to Shirakawa-go and lucked out because it was a nice sunny day. Our guide, Aiko, was engaging and very helpful throughout the tour.

Really enjoyed going to the village, very beautiful and amazing to see the village in the snow.. Also really interesting journey because of Yasushi, he was so fun and engaging with lots of information. Fab tour and guide, thank you!

We really enjoy this historic village especially as it was quiet when we arrived in the morning. Our guide Aiko was excellent and provided us with lots of interesting information, fun and facts in the coach journey. We enjoyed walking up the small hill to the observatory and decided to view the inside of the historic Kanda house which is open to the public (there are three houses to choose from which are open). We wee able to take plenty of photographs of everything. The street food was also fantastic - there were local beef snacks and lots of local sweets and ice-creams.

We had a wonderful morning tour with Aiko and Yasushi. They shared a lot of information about Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go with high energy and smiles so we were ready when we arrived. The tour is well worth the early start to see Shirakawa-go before the crowds build with beautiful scenery during the bus ride. Would love to do it again in various seasons.
