An early start meant we were there before the crowds. Our tour guide Aito was delightful and provided a good introduction to our half day in this lovely village

We had a great time. We loved our Tour Guide, Aiko. Our only issue with the entire tour was the artificial intelligence voice used to guide while on the bus. It was annoying. We would have much preferred a human voice reading it. It doesn’t have to be live as it gives Aiko a little break… just a human voice on the audio instead of artificial intelligence would be great.

Yasushi is very enegetic guide and bring lots of hoppy to this trip. There are some members not showed off on time, but team(Aiko also) do their best to wait and approach them. Loved their spirit put into their work.

We participated in this tour with Aiko as tour guide and had a wonderful experience! Aiko used the bus ride to tell us about the life and history of Kanazawa and Shirakawago. Aiko has made this interactive and insightful. You could tell right away that she was doing her job with a great passion. Afterwards we had enough time to explore Shirakawago on our own. It's an impressive place. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, which I can only recommend!

Yasushi was a great tour guide. He was very helpful and gave us lots of good information. This trip was early in the day which was good in order to avoid busy crowds.

It was an amazing experience!! Shirakawago is extremely beautiful and deserves a visit; when I went there, I’m the village was covered bv the snow, making it more enchanted. Our guide, Yasushi, was very competent and gave us precise information; he created a nice ambiance in the group and left us the right time to visit the city by ourselves. This tour is highly recommended!!

Ciel was engaging and enthusiastic about the area and her country. She was keen to share her knowledge and played some little fun quizzes to make the bus trip go quickly. We appreciated her tips to head to the lookout for photos before the other tour groups arrived.

Our family had a wonderful tour led by Ciel and supported by Yasushi. We spent the morning in Shirakawa and afternoon in the Gardens and Higashi Chaya District. Ciel provided lots of fun and insights on all things Kanazawa - as well as a quick Japanese lesson - so much so the rain didnt detract from the day at all. Despite it being a full day tour it was an easy pace and included some unique activities such as creating our own gold leaf postcard and painting our own hachiman okiagari koboshi (tumbler dolls). Would recommend to anyone visiting Kanazawa. Pachi Pachi Ciel and Yasushi for making it a great day. Kirk, Karen, Freya + Willow from Oz.

It was a pleasure to join the morning tour in Shirakawa-go on December 21, 2025. Our guides, Ms. Ciel and Mr. Yashimi, shared interesting insights into Japanese slang, cuisine, and culture. I especially enjoyed hearing Ciel talk about her hometown, Hakone. She did a great job engaging and energizing the group, and her English was excellent, making everything easy to understand. I hope we have the chance to meet again.

The two tour guide Ciel and Yasushi are very kind, we had a great time with them. We could communicate with them very easily. I was suprised that Mr. Wada still lives there. I also got surprised that you need smoke to live in the gasho zukuri.
