What To Expect
Old Town- Historic Center
Your tour starts in the Market Square (Rynek) where you will see the unique late gothic City Hall. You'll continue along to the historic Salt Square, which today hosts a lovely flower market
John and Margaret House
This pair of storybook tenements are known locally as 'Jaś i Małgosia,' or commonly 'Hansel & Gretel' for foreigners, apparently because the connecting archway is symbolic of a couple holding hands. Built in the 16th and 18th century respectively, they are all that remain of the line of townhouses that once circled the cemetery of St. Elizabeth’s.

5.00Absolutely fabulous walking tour of the old town. Our guide was so knowledgeable and provided us with such interesting information about the history of Wrocław. I would highly recommend this tour. We really enjoyed the route taken and some of the views taken were breathtaking

4.00Sean was an excellent guide. We do many walking tours and this is the first time we had a guide who communicated so much information in such a quick and interesting way. Two hours zoomed by and we learned so much without feeling overloaded with information. I would definitely recommend Sean, you won’t regret it!

4.00And it all started so well. Sean conducted what was probably the best walking tour my wife and I have ever been on. He was engaging, knowledgeable and really loved his job. The weather was atrocious but Sean still made the best of it. Everything was ruined when we feel he simply abandoned us outside the Cathedral at tour's end. We hadn't a clue where we were, how to get back to our hotel and Sean didn't really care. We made our way back via Google Maps Sean is an excellent guide but a poor host Pity

5.00From the beginning of our guide's tour presentation, my wife and I knew we were in for a special time for the next three hours. Our guide, "Sean," had historical pictures, photographs, and maps to assist and support his descriptions of the many places of interest we would encounter along our walk together. As Americans, we were pleased that the Viator assigned tour guide spoke fluent English. Even though we would have to cut the tour short due to unanticipated soreness from a prior all-day tour to one of Poland's famous castles and the Church of Peace (also arranged through Viator), the Wroclaw Old Town Guided Walking Tour was filled with exciting, interesting, and useful information. In our opinion, this tour offers great value for its low price. It is highly recommended!
