We expected to tour the Churchill War room but we had to walk around outside in the hot sun for 90 minutes before. I misunderstood the first part of the tour.

Although there was a huge protest demonstration going on in Parliament Square, our guide maneuvered around it and still managed to cover the topic very well. She was extremely conscious of our safety at all times and asked us repeatedly if we were comfortable with where we were going. She was knowledgeable and shared many great stories. The war rooms are amazing, but coupled with the museum in the middle, prepare for around a 2 hour visit.

The tour doesn’t really go in-depth about WW2 bombed buildings/sites and the social impact. However the guide was excellent and very informative, he made the experience!
