  We had an incredible experience at Yala Safari park! We were lucky enough to see leopards, bears, elephants, and so much more. A huge thank you to our guide, Kasun, who made the trip special. He took us to hidden spots and did his absolute best to ensure we saw as much wildlife as possible. We are so happy and highly recommend booking with Kasun for the best safari experience!

  We had an amazing experience with Shehan from Yala Shenu Safari. He picked us up right from Ella, arranged a perfectly organised safari tour in Yala National Park, and then safely dropped us off at our next destination in Mirissa — everything was smooth and on time. The safari itself was fantastic! Our driver was very experienced, and thanks to his keen eye, we were lucky enough to see a leopard, along with many elephants, deer, crocodiles, buffalo, and beautiful birds. The jeep was comfortable, and the overall trip felt very safe and well-managed. Shehan was extremely friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about giving guests the best experience. His communication was great from start to finish, and we really appreciated how easy he made the whole journey between the different locations. We highly recommend Yala Shenu Safari Tours for anyone visiting Sri Lanka — whether you’re planning a trip from Ella, Hambantota, or anywhere nearby. It was one of the best days of our trip!

  Had the most amazing time in Yala driver was so great and we saw everything we wanted, can’t recommend this provider enough, we also booked one with our hotel thinking the two tours would be different but they were both as good as eachother!

  I had an amazing time with Yala Shenu Safari. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The team was on time, incredibly friendly, and genuinely cared about making the day special. Our driver was outstanding, calm, skilled, and full of knowledge about the park and its wildlife. He somehow found a leopard with two tiny cubs, something I’ll never forget. We also had a volunteer safari guide join us, and I’m so glad we did. He was passionate, funny, and full of fascinating insights that made the whole experience even richer. I’ve been lucky enough to travel to more than 124 countries, and it is rare for me to get this excited about a local experience. But this safari truly stood out. It felt real, personal, and completely unforgettable. If you are heading to Yala, I cannot recommend this team enough.   Our driver Shehan was great. He knew exactly where to go and where to go and where the animals were. He was constantly taking my photographs into account and only left when I was ready again. The early appointment 04:30 is a bit unclear to me. Unfortunately there was a delay for us, because 4 people were delayed due to an incident, because I still wonder why 04:30 is the pick-up time, when the park only opens at 06:00 anyway.

  Very nice experience we were traveling as a couple and had another four companions our tour. Gight loaned us binoculars during the trip so we could see the animals better. He has also explained to us at any time what he is doing, what we are currently looking for and why he is not stopping for every small animal, but that we are looking for the leopards or elephants as rather rarely occurring animals It all worked out great too. We even got a very nice and delicious breakfast as well as a very good and delicious lunch. Compared to the tour our hotel offered, we were cheaper here and even got food throughout the day.   We had a wonderful half-day safari with Yala Shenu. After about two hours in the park, we enjoyed a tasty little breakfast at a scenic spot, which was a really nice break. There was also a stop for the washroom, which made the experience very comfortable. Our guide, Kasun, was excellent – extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our safari special. He went above and beyond to help us spot wildlife, and thanks to his skill and persistence we were lucky enough to see leopards not just once, but twice! Overall, a fantastic experience with a great guide. Highly recommended – definitely 5 stars!
