You will be picked up and dropped off from your Guilin or Yangshuo hotel/Yangshuo Yulong park gate.

What To Expect
Yulong River
Bike past the rice paddies and towering mountains as you explore the countryside around Yangshuo just like Jimmy Carter, the former U.S. President, did when he visited here in 1987. Explore the untouched countryside and enjoy scenery and local flair with your private guide. You will visit Yangshuo, Yima Village, Chaolong Village, Yulong River, Jiuxian Village, Dashi Village, Moon Hill, and Aishan Village in this amazing small group tour.
West Street
After the cycling, we can head to the Yangshuo central area--West street, we can have a lunch there.

Disappointed, can’t recommend

2.00We were so excited for this tour, but sadly it was disappointing and we cannot recommend it to others, especially given that it is VERY expensive. Our guide, David, was very nice and helped us take lots of great photos, but was more like a chauffeur than a guide (just drove us from point A to B, which you can easily and very cheaply do on your own). We wished there was tour information shared about Yangshuo and the areas we drove by. The itinerary said West Street was a lunch stop, but he did not take us there. Instead, he took us to a restaurant by Moon Hill where the food took almost one hour to arrive and was not good. It felt bad to waste so much time at a poor lunch stop, not see a major stop on the itinerary, and not have any choice in lunch. Based on our experience, I cannot say this tour is worth it for the price. You can didi to the stops and bike around yourself very easily.

4.00this is a great experience on a cycle. One can go through the countryside with rice fields, river streams and bamboo boats. Do plan the trip during cooler weather, I was lucky to have cloudy and breezy day. Be prepared to cycle for more than 2 hours. Guide is helpful and considerate. Although I would have preferred if she provided more information. Altogether a great experience.

5.00We arranged a private tour with Michelle, and the experience was beyond words. Michelle spoke flawless English, provided abundant information, and guided us through the main sights. We enjoyed both a scenic boat cruise and a bike tour, with Michelle patiently snapping countless photos for us. We savored a delightful traditional meal at a charming café. Our day couldn't have been more perfect. Additionally, Michelle went above and beyond to assist us in booking tickets for the Beijing hidden city, handling every request with utmost helpfulness. We can't thank her enough and highly recommend both the tour and Michelle as an exceptional guide.

5.00The scenery was breathtaking! Glad we booked a tour so we didn't have to figure out all the little details. David was our guide and he was wonderful. The tour schedule did deviate a bit but we had a blast. The biking was definitely the best part.

5.00Cannot recommend Andy highly enough. He made my bucket list trip one of the most memorable weekends for myself and my friends. He allowed me to fully customise my trip, while also offering flexibility on the day. His prices were fair and honest, he paid for tickets/small things throughout the few days, allowing me to just pay him directly at the end to settle up. Andy was knowledgeable, well-connected, friendly, fun, safe… everything I could ask for in a guide! If you are debating whether you need a guide or not - go with Andy and you will not regret your decision! Book with him and know your time will be well organised, he will prioritise the best stuff to show you in the time you have.
