Greenstone is beautifully situated on a single site in the picturesque Yarra Valley, an hour’s drive from Melbourne. The Winery and Cellar Door, which are nestled in to the base of the Christmas Hills, have unparalleled views of the Estate vineyard and Great Dividing ranges. It is here that winemaking operations are carried out, making Greenstone one of the most progressive wineries in the valley.

A very enjoyable day out. Wondered about the wisdom of 4 stops but the last stop at Tokar Estate was the best wine and spectacular scenery. Andy was a very relaxed but informative host.

Excellent tour of a few spots in the Yarra Valley. The wineries offered a diverse selection of wines and there was something that shocked and delighted everybody in the group. Getting to talk to other folks on the tour was fun as a solo traveler. Our driver/host (Matt) was wonderfully cheery and equally knowledgeable. You can tell he enjoys what he does and it made this experience that much more fun. I would love to return and do this tasting tour again.

We had a fabulous time with Andy and the other people on the tour. He was funny, informative and just a nice guy. The winery’s were interesting, particularly the Balgownie Estate. We would highly recommended this tour to anyone looking to experience the Yarra Valley and its wines.

We’re supposed to go to 5 wineries but we couldn’t go to soumah as it was fully booked. He ended up not taking us to the last winery even though we paid the same price. He also took us to the wrong place in the morning. Whole trip was disorganised and not worth the money. Very disappointed.

Driver was wonderful. Great selection of wineries, however I felt very rushed by some presenters of the wines. Balgownie Estate was a standout. Fantastic venue, presenter and lunch!

Do not recommend. Save your money and go with another operator if you want to have an enjoyable experience. Yes it’s convenient but the driver/ tour guide lacked enthusiasm and depth of understanding about the wine region. A few times he almost left someone behind because he didn’t do a head count at the start of the tour! He did not give any information about it how long we were at each winery, nor an introduction about the location. He would just wonder around and ask if we were ready to go, rather than set any expectations. Honestly just felt like he was a bus driver than a tour guide. The wineries were fine. Greenstone was not a good start as the person serving did not care about being there and barely interacted with the group. Balgownie was really good, the person doing the tasting there was so knowledgeable and engaging with the group. The rest were okay but really lacked the enthusiasm from the tour guide. We didn’t even know we were finishing and heading back to Melbourne. Just don’t spend your money and go somewhere else.
