Quite a rush tour as there are few places to visit. We had about an hour at each of them. Expect lots of walking at a fast pace. Not suitable for old people. Guide walked pretty quickly hence old people may not be able to catch up

Sophie was a terrific tour guide on this day trip. The geopark was unique and the waves of the Pacific Ocean crashing along the rocks painted a beautiful portrait of this natural landscape. The lanterns rising in the air in Shifen, sending forth wishes of peace, joy, and prosperity were inspiring to all who viewed them. The waterfalls also brought a sense of calm. Finally, it was a pleasure exploring the market at Jiufen and learning about the history of the region and its gold mining past. It is nice to get away from the bustle of the city and learn from an experienced guide like Sophie. We recommend this tour highly to travelers and it was a great one for families with children.

Great way to see several things in one day if you are short on time. The geopark was nice, definitely some different types of rock formations there, and the waterfall pretty. Our guide Sophie, was good, very informative and looked after everyone. Easy meeting point as well, would have liked more time at the geopark and less time in Juifen, but that's my personal preference and others may disagree.
