  Be prepared for the unexpected weather. Pack a small umbrella and/or poncho. The weather definitely made things harder to enjoy, but that wasn’t anyone’s particular fault. Our guide, KC, did his best despite the circumstances.

  It is a highly recommended tour, especially if you are lucky to have Sunny as your tour guide. She switches between English and Mandarin effortlessly, providing all the necessary as well as fun information in such a manner that everyone knows exactly what to do and when and where to be back at the meeting points. Sunny is passionate about the natural beauty of her homeland and shares her passion with tour participants - I could not help but fall in love with Taiwan simply by listening to her. Surely, the Geopark, the waterfall and the stunning coastal views from Jiufen make Taiwan a real gem!

  What a fantastic tour we did exploring highlights from the Taiwan countryside. Our guide Tommy (local Taiwanese gent) was absolutely fantastic, giving us insights and organising things that just made the day seamless such as lunch and tea. Tommy did a fantastic job shepherding the group around (which would not have been easy given the number of people in the group (a full bus) and different nationalities. We had a few additional things to pay for along the way e.g. National Park entrance, lantern fee, lunch etc but this was all well spelt out in the itinerary. Overall the tour was an absolute bargain - around AUD$150 for me and my husband including the extras. When you consider you get a full day’s travel with that I thought it was excellent. Yeah I watched Tik Tok videos of how people did all of this themselves but who can honestly be bothered with that when it’s all organised for you. Thank you Tommy and thank you Viatour! This was the highlight of our 7 day Taipei/HK trip!

  I had this tour yesterday in order to get to see these places in just one day without having to think about how to get there + logistics. Everything went very well, the times were perfectly measured, and I had a really good day (no need to say that the places we visited were beautiful!). Our guide was Cheney, a good man that cares about what he does and remains always available to help you or to answer any question you may have. It was a pleasure. Highly recommended!!

  I joined the tour today. Unfortunately, it rained, but the tour guide worked hard to entertain the many participants and it was great. I'm grateful to my sister, the tour guide. Thank you very much. I want to see you again.

  This was a great tour and exceeded my expectations! Felt like we had plenty of time in every stop. You will see Yeliuh with a nice amount of time, Shifen and Shifen waterfall (gorgeous), and Jiufen. The first stop in Jiufen is so nice and gives probably the best view I saw of the town! Emma, our guide, had lots of great information and she even set us up with food recommendations she could set up in advance at stops so you could try local food at the local price (boba tea, rice stuffed chicken - amazing, peanut ice cream rolls...).

  The sites are enjoyable and do was Johnson our guide. The bus is comfortable to ride and you’ll get plenty of steps in too.

  The trip was memorable and fun! However, the time we spent at the park was short meaning we couldn't see everything. The street was very narrow and packed with tourist. We spent a lot of time just trying to get around.
