5.00I went into this tour with a fair bit of skepticism due to some reviews. But it turned out to be a genuinely enjoyable experience from start to finish. What stood out most was how well the tour was delivered. Dillian, our guide, struck a great balance between being informative and entertaining. The facts and stories never felt forced or overly scripted, she added context and personality without dragging. The highlight was the unexpected mini food tour at the end, and the recommendations. Overall, this tour managed to exceed expectations.

2.00Big group put on a big bus - with a screaming child and noisy passengers. The Taiwanese guide kept shouting instructions in very broken English and Mandarin. We were quickly marched around different crowded locations and marched back on to the bus. Told there was no time to stop for lunch so encouraged to pre order snacks from the guide. Not a very relaxing experience!

5.00This was a great and organized tour to see Taipei highlights that are farther from the city. Our tour guide Kevin was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We would do this again if we’re back in Taipei.

5.00Dillian Hsu from Routor Travel is beyond amazing. She was super organized and got us to the Yehliu Geopark before any tour bus arrived, allowing us to take precious pictures without crowds. Then we headed to Shifen Village for the lantern release. She coordinated with the local vendors on the lantern and lunch preorders, again saving us lots of time. Then we headed over to the Shifen Waterfall where she recommended super yummy local eats. Lastly, we headed to Jiufen Old Street and even did a 15-minute food tour with us. All the vendors gave us samples which was quite helpful. I have never had such a smooth tour EVER! Dillian’s attention to details really made our trip. On top of that, she enlightened us with the history and local customs during our bus ride, making it a truly memorable cultural experience. Thanks so much, Dillian!

5.00Great experience, wouldn’t have been able to travel to this many places if I were to do it without a tour. Have cash ready, lots of shops at each of the stop. Lunch not provided but theres food stalls at every stop.
