We had an incredible time on the Casanova guided tour of upper Yellowstone in September. I highly recommend this tour and our guide - Jackson, who was amazing. He was not only extremely knowledgeable but very accommodating to the specific interests of our group of 6 adults and one toddler. His passion for wildlife and the park was evident and we truly enjoyed our time together. He went out of the way to make sure we had the best experience possible. We started the tour by being picked up at our condo about an hour early at Jackson’s recommendation to have the best chance to see wildlife as the sun rose and we were not disappointed. We caught sight of wolves on two occasions - once at a great distance near their den and then much closer as a pack of 6 were running through a field and later crossing a river. In addition to seeing numerous elk, mule deer and bison we also spotted a bald eagle and a coyote. The highlight of the tour, however, was watching a grizzly approach from about 500 yards up to less than 30 yards away. Jackson had us all retreat to the van as the bear grew closer but we captured amazing photos. He also shared all of his videos and photo highlights which were excellent. We definitely would not have seen the grizzly or the wolves without Jackson’s expert knowledge and commitment to giving us a wonderful experience. Sandwiches by the river really hit the spot and gave us a chance to dip our feet in the river and catch a glimpse of mountain goats in the surrounding mountain cliffs. At the conclusion of a full and eventful day, Jackson was nice enough to give us detailed recommendations on other sites to se in the park including some ‘insider’ tips. Overall, a Five Star -Plus experience !

We had a great day on our wildlife tour. Jackson (our guide) was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information not only about Yellowstone wildlife, but on the history of Yellowstone. The highlight of the day was finding and watching a wolfpack. Fantastic experience.

Incredible day long tour with Jackson, our guide. This company is thoughtful, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, kind. Really loved every moment. We saw SO many animals (grizzly, wolves, elk, bison, eagle, owl, hawks, mountain goats, and more!) thanks to Jackson’s expertise, and had fun and laughed all day as we also learned so much about the park. Plus great lunch and snacks! Thank you for a wonderful time- a huge highlight of our trip.

Did this tour just with spouse and 18 year old. We had Jack as our tour guide and he was great. We originally picked a 5am start, but he reached out the day before and suggested an earlier time if we wanted to see carnivorous animals. He was very knowledgeable about the park and the animals. He was definitely a "grizzly" guy but also talked about LOTS of other animals. We were extremely lucky as there was a carcass, so we witnessed Grizzlies, wolves and coyotes. He drove us all around so we could check off many other animals. He was very enthusiastic and entertaining. He educated us about so much pertaining to the ecology of the park. Would strongly suggest a tour as they know where to go and provide the gear so you can actually see the animals when they are far away. Would definitely do this again. Jack also gave us lots of suggestions for our next day and we did it all and loved everything.

Unforgettable day with Michaela. Two adults and a 3 year old toddler. Picked up promptly in a comfortable SUV at 6am at Old Faithful Inn and drove straight to Lamar Valley. We were able to see everything on our bucket list including a black wolf taking down a bison calf, grizzly bear with her cubs, mountain goats, osprey nest with her babies, and bison herds. Had a delicious lunch and made a side stop at the mud volcano. We basically curated our day and Michaela was more than happy to accommodate our wishes. If we could give her 10 stars, we would! Don’t miss out on this adventure. You won’t regret it.

Both our guide and the company owner delivered amazing service. Jackson, our guide, was wonderful, keeping the kids (3 boys between 7-11 y.o.) engaged all day and knew all the best places to watch for wildlife and catch bio breaks. Our experience would be substantially less enjoyable without him. Also got homemade cookies with lunch. I would give Jackson six stars if available! Thanks to Casanova Tours for giving our family an unforgettable experience in Yellowstone!

We booked the Casanova Yellowstone Upper Loop Wildlife Tour. We hoped to see some animals. The tour far exceeded our expectations! Our private guide, Brian Burrus, was the best guide I have ever experienced. He was personable, knowledgeable, answered all our questiions, and was an obvious nature lover. And he went out of his way to show us what we asked to see. Within 15 minutes of our 6am departure, our road was blocked by a bison herd, complete with babies. The entire herd walked past us - many within 5 feet of both sides of our vehicle. A photographer's dream! As we continued on toward Lamar Valley, our guide was constantly on the lookout for wildlife. He would spot an animal we never saw, pull off the road, show us where it was, and help us to photograph it. He also took videos and pictures himself which he emailed to us later. We saw more wildlife than I ever imagined. There were 2 black bear sightings, one with 2 cubs. 3 young badgers. Four different wolf sightings. Several pronghorn antelope. Elk. A mountain goat clinging to a rock side. A Rocky Mountain sheep with her lamb running around. A pair of cranes with babies. A huge osprey nest with osprey in it. Many other birds. And hundreds of bison. He also pulled over for us to photograph the beautiful scenery. And finally, at the end of the tour, he even backtracked on his own to try to find a cell phone we left behind. We could not give this tour and Brian, our guide any higher recommendation. It was our dream come true.
