Our Half Day Classic Raft trip begins at the northern border of Yellowstone National Park, right where the Gardiner River converges with the mighty Yellowstone River. This trip is fun for the whole family! Ride the waves at Bridge Waves, Man Eater, Loonie's and Boonie's Revenge, Queen of the Waters, and the KING! Take in the breathtaking view of Devil’s Slide. Float through some flat water stretches that are great for swimming and relaxing. This trip is great for first time rafters or family groups with wide age and ability ranges. This trip is 8 miles on the river and can be up to 3 hours approximately depending on water levels (CFS).

What To Expect

Our Yellowstone whitewater rafting trip is a fun, wide, high-volume river that features rolling wave rapids. Rapids vary in size depending on water levels. Families love it! The Yellowstone white water rafting trip is great for children ages 6 and up. Spectacular views may include spotting wildlife such as river otters and bald eagles. The Yellowstone River office is located in Gardiner at the North Entrance to Yellowstone National park, just minutes from Mammoth Hot Springs. We are located on Main Street (Scott Street) on a riverfront property within walking distance from lodging and campgrounds in central Gardiner. You can even see some of the rapids from our backyard!

Absolutely loved this outfit. We had Addie as a guide and she was great. Very experienced, knowledgeable about Yellowstone and very interactive. I would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely a must, if you're staying in Gardiner! A proper white water experience with an opportunity to swim in the Yellowstone river. Addy was our guide - she was full of interesting facts as we made our way downriver. Plus we felt super safe when we hit any rapids because she was an experienced rafter and gave very clear instructions. It was still a bit scary at times, so don't expect a serene float down the river. This was a true adrenaline acitivity but safety was paramount.

It was a very fun and exiting experience. I would definitely do it again. We all got to work together and if felt much longer than 8 miles.

Very fun and safe! We went on 10 ppl raft 8 miles 3 hours paradise experience. 1.5 hours on water and 1.5 hours listening to safety procedures and wearing water shoes/life jackets. The after photos are beautiful and forever memories that are cheap to purchase. My teenagers love it! Staffs are nice and experienced. Totally recommend!
