The Yerevan Private Walking Food Tour with Anna was an absolute delight! Anna’s deep knowledge of Armenian history seamlessly wove into every bite, as she introduced us to incredible local dishes, sharing their origins and stories with genuine passion. She’s a fantastic ambassador for Yerevan and Armenia, warm, engaging, and proud of her heritage. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic flavors and culture!

Our guide, Ellen, made the tour transcend the simple focus on just the foods of this beautiful country. Her broad and cumulative knowledge of Armenia’s history, art, architecture, and social fabric made every walk between restaurants a tour in and of itself. Her command of English was impressive and her demeanor was both professional as well as collegial and charming. The foods were carefully selected, freshly prepared - and simply outstanding. I cannot emphasize enough how well this tour initiated and oriented us into Yerevan as a first activity in the city.

Our guide Anahit was very personable and gave us some information about areas of the city as we walked around. We stopped at 4 (or 5) restaurants for different courses, and she explained about each food. All very tasty. One restaurant was taking too long, so she arranged for us to have that food at the next restaurant, and also arranged a glass of wine as an apology for the delay. She went above and beyond! We really enjoyed all the food and history.

Walking food tour with our English speaking guide Anna, 6 stops, plenty of tasty food and lots of history. Anna was very knowledgable and lovely and was able to answer all our questions. She had a leaflet with all the stops and the foods which was helpful and she could give us plenty of tips of other things to do and food/wine places in Yerevan. Would def recommend!

This is a perfect intro to Yerevan. I went on my first day here. The knowledge I gained impacted every day since then. Anna is a perfect guide. I’ve taken 20+ food tours, yet Anna is the FIRST to provide a brochure at the start of the tour, with descriptions and pictures of the items we would taste. Most tours send you a list AFTER the tour is over. Anna’s approach is incredibly helpful.
