Borobudur Temple
Visit the world's largest Buddhist legacy of Borobudur Temple. Encounter 504 life-sized Buddha statues, each carved from a single stone. Discover seated Buddha statues beneath each bell-shaped spire. Admire its grandeur, beauty and uniqueness. Complete your journey by visiting the nearby Mendut and Pawon Temples (optional). These are positioned along a straight line with Borobudur for an unknown ritual process. Explore the wonder of the ancient world today!
Prambanan Temples
Set out for Prambanan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built between the 8th and 10th centuries, this mighty temple complex celebrates both Hindu and Buddhist beliefs, and the scale is so impressive. It was dedicated to the Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator (Brahma), the Preserver (Vishnu), and the Destroyer (Shiva). The largest Hindu temple site in Indonesia and one of the largest ones in Southeast Asia.

5.00The experience was perfect. Thanks to Yuni we were able to visit these two important sites without worries and in the most complete way possible. Especially Borobudur is quite complex as an entry procedure. Thanks to this tour, you can safely get rid of all the paperwork and spend a day discovering the wonder. The plus of dawn on Borobudur is a gem that not everyone has. yuni is an excellent and very nice guide who leaves you your own spaces but who is always ready to provide you with information and help.

5.00We did the sunrise tour to Borobudur Temple, followed by a visit to Prambanan Temple, and it was easily one of the highlights of our time in Yogyakarta. Watching the sunrise from the top of Borobudur is something truly special. There’s a quiet, almost mystical atmosphere up there that’s hard to put into words. The access groups are small enough to enjoy the temple without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, which makes a huge difference. After the sunrise, we were treated to an excellent buffet-style breakfast at a nearby center — varied, well-organized, and much better than expected. The temples themselves are simply breathtaking, but what really elevated the experience was our guide, Yuni. He picked us up very early at our accommodation and made the entire day flow effortlessly. During the drives, he shared stories and insights not only about the temples, but also about daily life, culture, and traditions in Yogyakarta. He even stopped to buy us local fruit so we could try it — a small gesture that says a lot. At Prambanan, Yuni guided us through the complex with clear explanations and genuine enthusiasm, always attentive and easy to talk to. He didn’t just guide us from point A to B — he genuinely made the day better. All in all, this is an absolute must-do in Yogyakarta. Highly recommended — and if possible, do it with Yuni.

What made the experience extra special was that he took me to a local market that felt like a true hidden gem—completely off the tourist path and not listed anywhere online. It gave me a very authentic glimpse into local life. Yuni was professional, thoughtful, and made me feel very comfortable as a solo traveler. 5.00This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip to Yogyakarta! Visiting both Borobudur and Prambanan in one day can be exhausting, but this all-inclusive package made everything seamless and stress-free. Our guide, Yuni, was exceptional and truly made the experience special. From the start, Yuni was punctual, incredibly friendly, and shared a wealth of knowledge about the history and architecture of the temples. We learned so much more than we would have by just reading the signs. Beyond the history, Yuni was a fantastic photographer, knowing exactly where to stand for the best shots, and made sure we stayed hydrated and comfortable throughout the heat. The logistics (tickets, transport, and lunch) were handled perfectly, allowing us to just focus on the beauty of the sites. 5.00Visiting Borobudur has been on my list for a long time and I’m glad I finally got the chance to visit. Yuni picked me up for the sunrise hike; we made a short stop at Ayam Gereja and then we went to Borobudur where he helped me get through the entrance procedures and waited with me for the temple guide. As a solo female traveller, I felt well taken care of at all times and he made sure I was safe. During the car ride, we also talked about cultural practices in Java. After the tour I asked for a recommendation for lunch and he dropped me off at a delicious nasi padang place.

5.00Borobudur is truly one of the world’s most amazing places and Yuni was exceptional. He made sure everything from tickets to wearing the proper slippers was taken care of. He took great photos of us as well to keep as memories of such a remarkable place. Yuni was one of the best guides we had anywhere during our travels in Asia, and Borobudur is a must-visit monument. We’re grateful it’s been so well preserved to help visitors like us learn more about the deep, impressive history of Java and Yogyakarta.
