  So glad we did this, had the most fun time. The actors were honestly amazing, and despite there being a very small group of us the experience was not affected. Each room was a great mix of educational and entertaining, while genuinely scaring us at time! Definitely recommend

  The York Dungeon is overpriced for what it offers. I expected a scary and immersive experience, but there was far more talking than actual scares. It felt more like a history show than a horror attraction. Overall, it’s disappointing and not worth the high ticket price.

  We had a great immersive experience at York Dungeon, was picked a few times to participate, which was a bit of fun. The Plague Doctor, Torture & Witch were standouts. It wasn’t overly scary, but beware if you jump easily, of actors lurking in the dark. A good bit of history and educational content on York.

  Brilliant experience. Went with my wife whilst in York for our anniversary. I was expecting to just walk around a museum type experience but this is so much more, as I realised as soon as we got to the front desk. Actors are brilliant and the whole experience was entertaining. Beware this is interactive so you might end up in the show so to speak - I think the actors picked up on my fear of this and didn't pick me but some of the people who were in our group were picked multiple times and had a good few laughs.

  where to start? when a wheelchair user is im new company or at a venue people can have a unconscious tendency to speak and look at the carer but the staff and actors certainly made me feel incuded in the whole experience, all the actors making eye contact with me and the behind the scenes staff being super fast with ramps ect when needed, the only negative is its very tight through doorways and corners but that is to be expected and it is also advised on the website so a carer to push is essential as for you able bodied people, do it its a great experience well worth the ticket prices
