Departure at 8:00 AM from your accomandation. Travel to Chocholow – a picturesque village in the Podhale region, known for its well-preserved traditional wooden architecture. The visit begins with a walk along the main street, lined with 19th-century highlander wooden houses, called "Chocholow cottages." The guide will share stories about the village’s history, architecture, and the unique tradition of scrubbing wooden walls before Easter. Next, we visit a local folk sculptor. Participants will see the artist's workshop, tools, and observe the woodcarving process. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, talk with the sculptor, and view finished works of art.

5.00We had the most incredible day with Tours4U Krakow and genuinely couldn’t recommend them more highly – a truly 5-star experience from start to finish! From the moment we were picked up, everything felt personal, relaxed, and perfectly organised. We were actually the only two people on the tour, which made the whole experience feel even more special and tailored just for us. Our guide, Mikhal, was absolutely fantastic – so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, while also being warm and easy to chat to throughout the day. The itinerary itself was amazing. The Tatras Mountains were breathtaking, and visiting the traditional wooden village gave us such a lovely insight into local culture and history. The cheese tasting was a real highlight – such a fun and authentic experience! Lunch on Krupówki Street was delicious and gave us a chance to soak up the atmosphere of the area. What really stood out, though, was Michael’s attentiveness. When he found out we were horse lovers, he went out of his way to rearrange our planned quad biking activity to horse riding at the last minute – something we appreciated so much and will never forget. That level of care and flexibility is so rare and made the day feel truly personalised. We finished the day at the thermal baths, which was the perfect, relaxing end to an already unforgettable trip.
