Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park
Tianmen Mountain, known as the "Fairy Mountain," is the highest peak in Zhangjiajie and a sacred site in Western Hunan. Ride the cable car to Yunmeng Summit for sweeping views and explore a natural bonsai landscape of stunning stone formations. Challenge yourself on the Glass Skywalk, a thrilling glass path clinging to the cliffs. Drive up the legendary Tongtian Avenue, with 99 bends and nearly 1,000 meters of vertical elevation change—hailed as the “World’s No.1 Road Wonder.” Visit Tianmen Cave, a rare high-altitude natural archway formed through a mountain, and walk the breathtaking Guigu Cliffside Path, suspended halfway up towering cliffs at 1,400 meters above sea level. Tianmen Mountain also hosted wingsuit legend Jeb Corliss’s world-famous flight. Revered as “The Soul of Wuling,” this mountain offers a powerful blend of natural beauty, adventure, and cultural depth.
Zhangjiajie Junsheng Painting Institute
A unique art gallery dedicated to showcasing sandstone paintings. Founded in 2001 by Mr. Li Junsheng, a renowned Tujia ethnic minority artist and the pioneer of sandstone painting, this gallery has become a cultural landmark. In 2004, it was officially rated as a national AA-level tourist attraction by the China National Tourism Scenic Area Quality Rating Committee. The institute integrates the research, development, creation, and sale of sandstone art, while also exhibiting traditional ethnic handicrafts, making it a one-of-a-kind private art museum in Zhangjiajie.

5.00I went with my boyfriend and it honestly felt like a scene from a movie! The cable car ride was so peaceful and the views were breathtaking. The Glass Skywalk was a little scary at first (I was holding his hand the whole time 😅), but it ended up being my favorite part! Our guide was super kind and patient, and even helped us take the cutest couple photos. Everything was really well organized, so we could just relax and enjoy the day. If you’re visiting Zhangjiajie, don’t miss this tour — it’s magical ✨

5.00My husband and I joined the Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain and Glass Skywalk Private Tour, and it was one of the highlights of our entire China trip! Everything was so well arranged — from the hotel pickup to the cable car tickets — we didn’t have to worry about anything and could just enjoy the day. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Riding the world’s longest cable car felt surreal — like floating above the clouds. The Glass Skywalk was both thrilling and beautiful, and our guide was amazing at helping us capture great photos while making us feel totally safe. We loved how personal the tour felt. Our guide was friendly, spoke great English, and told us lots of interesting stories about Tianmen Mountain and local traditions. It made the experience feel much more meaningful. If you’re a couple traveling to Zhangjiajie, this tour is 100% worth it. It’s romantic, adventurous, and truly unforgettable!
