Accompanied by a professional guide, stroll around the old lanes with antiquated architecture, wander along the canal with old bridges and take the boat on tranquil canals in Zhujiajiao for a half day. Followed by another half day tour to see the Shanghai city top attractions, such as Yu Garden, the spectacular skyline on the Bund as well as the panoramic view from the top of Shanghai Tower. An authentic Chinese lunch in the water town, boat ride ticket, entrance fee to Shanghai Tower, private guide and driver service are all inclusive.

What To Expect
Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Meet your knowledgeable guide at your hotel lobby. After one hour driving, you will start your exciting sightseeing tour from Zhujiajiao water town. It's the best-preserved water town in the area with history over 1700 years. There are old bridges, antiquated architecture and bubbling streams. You can wander along the canal, stroll around the old lanes, visit few houses with gardens. Later, enjoy a relaxing boat riding on the canal to see beautiful surrounding. Don't miss out the opportunity to take some fabulous pictures. Revitalize yourself with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant where you can have some local delicious dishes.
Yu Garden
In the afternoon, you will go back to Shanghai city, and visit Yuyuan Garden, a very ancient and well-preserved garden with the history of 400years old. You will see the stylish Chinese pavilion and authentic old architectures. Or you will have an alternative option to visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple instead(Yuyuan Garden closed on every Monday).

5.00Queena was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable and efficient. Zhujiajiao was our favorite! Lovely walk through the town and a fabulous boat ride. Queena knew exactly where to go and navigated the crowded streets with ease. A walk back ancient times, a prefect end to the day.

5.00Although we coincided with a holiday weekend, the tour was carefully adjusted to avoid the worst of the crowds. Met at the airport after long flights, the super comfy vehicle was perfect for 4 passengers & luggage. Our driver, Mr Chen mastered the traffic with ease. Queena, our lovely guide, spoke perfect English; was funny & extremely knowledgeable. She knew the best photo opportunities & patiently took many snaps for us ;o) We tried the best soup dumplings ever & lunch was outstanding. She also used her personal Alipay & assisted us reimbursing her once we figured out ours! We were dropped at our hotel at the end of a prefect day. Highly recommend this day tour/private airport shuttle if you land on an early flight but cannot check into your Shanghai hotel until later in day.

5.00This whole day tour was jam-packed with activities and places to go. Despite the rain, Snow; our guide, was able to make the most of our tour. We had a private driver Shifu who made our travels to the water village very comfortable and relaxing. Lunch was also really great and you can request what kind of food you prefer! A little bonus is we did a cat cafe at the water and we stayed there for over 30 minutes! It was a great experience being cat lovers and the cats were all so sweet and wonderful. Very relaxing experience as well as we got to bond with the cats while drinking some milkshake all while enjoying the view of the river. Very customizable and our guide was very patient and detailed in explaining a lot of concepts and historical stuff!

5.00It was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. Lin exceeded all expectations—I never imagined having such a fun and engaging day with a guide. She was attentive, polite, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the tour. At Shanghai Tower, her familiarity with the area really stood out, as she shared helpful insights and tips that enhanced our visit. The garden was absolutely beautiful, and Lin went above and beyond by helping us capture wonderful photos to remember the day. The Watertown tour and lunch were beyond anything we expected—delicious food paired with breathtaking scenery, including hidden gardens and stunning views. Our driver, Mr. Lu, also contributed to the excellent experience. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and his driving was safe and courteous the entire time. Overall, an unforgettable day that I would highly recommend.

5.00The tour was great with our tour guide Lin. We had just one day in Shanghai and this tour was ideal. Although it was raining Lin made it possible to shift the itenary around so that we could still see the view from Shanghai tower before it was obscured by the mist.The highlight was the water town which is a must do when in Shanghai. The lunch was really delicious and we got to taste some local delicacies.
