Discover Shanghai’s most incredible city attractions and beautiful Zhujiajiao Water Town during this wonderful private day tour. Accompanied by a professional guide, stroll around the old lanes with antiquated architecture, wander along the canal with old bridges and take the boat on tranquil canals in Zhujiajiao for a half day. Followed by another half day tour to see the Shanghai city top attractions, such as Yu Garden, the spectacular skyline on the Bund as well as the panoramic view from the top of Shanghai Tower. An authentic Chinese lunch in the water town, boat ride ticket, entrance fee to Shanghai Tower, private guide and driver service are all inclusive.

What To Expect
Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Meet your knowledgeable guide at your hotel lobby. After one hour driving, you will start your exciting sightseeing tour from Zhujiajiao water town. It's the best-preserved water town in the area with history over 1700 years. There are old bridges, antiquated architecture and bubbling streams. You can wander along the canal, stroll around the old lanes, visit few houses with gardens. Later, enjoy a relaxing boat riding on the canal to see beautiful surrounding. Don't miss out the opportunity to take some fabulous pictures. Revitalize yourself with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant where you can have some local delicious dishes.
Yu Garden
In the afternoon, you will go back to Shanghai city, and visit Yuyuan Garden, a very ancient and well-preserved garden with the history of 400years old. You will see the stylish Chinese pavilion and authentic old architectures. Or you will have an alternative option to visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple instead(Yuyuan Garden closed on every Monday).

5.00I had a great tour experience with Queena. She was punctual to the minute to pick me up. The tour had a personal car all day. The Zhujiajiao experience was great. Followed by lunch with view of the People’s park. The food was excellent and she took care of my allergy restrictions. Finally the afternoon evening through the other sites Yu Graden, the Bund and the French concession was great. Queena was especially great with helping me with looking for souvenirs. Would rate this team full 5 stars.

5.00We had such a wonderful experience on our Zhujiajiao Water Town and Shanghai City Private Day Tour, all thanks to our amazing guide, Snow! From the very beginning, Snow was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. She made our whole family feel comfortable, especially our kids—she was so patient, engaging, and genuinely sweet with them, which we truly appreciated. She took us to the Shanghai Tower and even helped us take beautiful family photos, making sure we captured such special memories. Throughout the day, she was very attentive and thoughtful, always checking in on us and making sure we were enjoying every moment. Our visit to Zhujiajiao Water Town was absolutely lovely. The garden was peaceful and beautiful, and the boat ride along the river was one of the highlights of our trip. Snow made the experience even more meaningful by sharing insights and making it fun and interactive for all of us. What really stood out was how she didn’t just guide us—she truly connected with us. Her warmth, energy, and genuine care made this tour unforgettable. We are so grateful to have had Snow as our guide and would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Shanghai! We got to see all the major sites, and Sophie was knowledgeable, personable, and always smiling, with beautiful English that made everything easy Highly recommend them if you’re visiting Shanghai!

5.00Wonderful local tour of Shanghai. Our guide Snow and driver Shifu were fantastic. Very helpful with provided all the local tips and guidance. To top it off, we were treated to a wonderful lunch with our special request of vegetarian food, they took us to a local vegetarian restaurant which served us lovely food. Highly recommend the tour!

5.00Although we coincided with a holiday weekend, the tour was carefully adjusted to avoid the worst of the crowds. Met at the airport after long flights, the super comfy vehicle was perfect for 4 passengers & luggage. Our driver, Mr Chen mastered the traffic with ease. Queena, our lovely guide, spoke perfect English; was funny & extremely knowledgeable. She knew the best photo opportunities & patiently took many snaps for us ;o) We tried the best soup dumplings ever & lunch was outstanding. She also used her personal Alipay & assisted us reimbursing her once we figured out ours! We were dropped at our hotel at the end of a prefect day. Highly recommend this day tour/private airport shuttle if you land on an early flight but cannot check into your Shanghai hotel until later in day.

5.00This whole day tour was jam-packed with activities and places to go. Despite the rain, Snow; our guide, was able to make the most of our tour. We had a private driver Shifu who made our travels to the water village very comfortable and relaxing. Lunch was also really great and you can request what kind of food you prefer! A little bonus is we did a cat cafe at the water and we stayed there for over 30 minutes! It was a great experience being cat lovers and the cats were all so sweet and wonderful. Very relaxing experience as well as we got to bond with the cats while drinking some milkshake all while enjoying the view of the river. Very customizable and our guide was very patient and detailed in explaining a lot of concepts and historical stuff!
