Followed by another half day tour to see the Shanghai city top attractions, such as Yu Garden, the spectacular skyline on the Bund as well as the panoramic view from the top of Shanghai Tower. An authentic Chinese lunch in the water town, boat ride ticket, entrance fee to Shanghai Tower, private guide and driver service are all inclusive.

What To Expect
Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Meet your knowledgeable guide at your hotel lobby. After one hour driving, you will start your exciting sightseeing tour from Zhujiajiao water town. It's the best-preserved water town in the area with history over 1700 years. There are old bridges, antiquated architecture and bubbling streams. You can wander along the canal, stroll around the old lanes, visit few houses with gardens. Later, enjoy a relaxing boat riding on the canal to see beautiful surrounding. Don't miss out the opportunity to take some fabulous pictures. Revitalize yourself with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant where you can have some local delicious dishes.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
In the afternoon, you will go back to Shanghai city, and visit Yuyuan Garden, a very ancient and well-preserved garden with the history of 400years old. You will see the stylish Chinese pavilion and authentic old architectures. Or you will have an alternative option to visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple instead(Yuyuan Garden closed on every Monday).

5.00If you’re looking for a truly authentic experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you must visit the Zhujiajiao water town. There’s plenty of small shops and food options along both sides of the canal. We also visited a beautiful garden, took a relaxing boat ride, and enjoyed a comforting homestyle lunch. Our excellent tour guide Xin was both kind and knowledgeable and tailored our tour to our preferences. We also recommend the rest of the itinerary although we tweaked ours because we had previously visited these sites earlier during our visit to Shanghai. This tour pretty much hits all the highlights of Shanghai in one day. We highly recommend this tour!

5.00Jenny is in love with Shanghai, she is knowledgable, happy and fun. We visited beautiful places, and enjoyed every part of the day and tour. The bus and driver were very nice. Both Alana as the travel agent and Jenny as tour guided contacted us via WA the day before the tour, this is very important especially for those of us who come far from abroad. 5.00This was the best trip! I had Caroline as my guide and she was the best! We started off the day seeing the city of Shanghai with amazing photos and then continued to the Yu Garden! So beautiful and so much history . Once we made it the water town it was the best experience! Caroline took care of everything I needed I would highly recommend her as your tour guide she knew the history and accommodated me with what I was looking for out of this tour! The driver was also great! Today was a perfect day definitely book and as a solo it was so fun !!!!
