Discover Shanghai’s most incredible city attractions and beautiful Zhujiajiao Water Town during this wonderful private day tour. Accompanied by a professional guide, stroll around the old lanes with antiquated architecture, wander along the canal with old bridges and take the boat on tranquil canals in Zhujiajiao for a half day. Followed by another half day tour to see the Shanghai city top attractions, such as Yu Garden, the spectacular skyline on the Bund as well as the panoramic view from the top of Shanghai Tower. An authentic Chinese lunch in the water town, boat ride ticket, entrance fee to Shanghai Tower, private guide and driver service are all inclusive.

What To Expect
Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Meet your knowledgeable guide at your hotel lobby. After one hour driving, you will start your exciting sightseeing tour from Zhujiajiao water town. It's the best-preserved water town in the area with history over 1700 years. There are old bridges, antiquated architecture and bubbling streams. You can wander along the canal, stroll around the old lanes, visit few houses with gardens. Later, enjoy a relaxing boat riding on the canal to see beautiful surrounding. Don't miss out the opportunity to take some fabulous pictures. Revitalize yourself with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant where you can have some local delicious dishes.
Yu Garden
In the afternoon, you will go back to Shanghai city, and visit Yuyuan Garden, a very ancient and well-preserved garden with the history of 400years old. You will see the stylish Chinese pavilion and authentic old architectures. Or you will have an alternative option to visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple instead(Yuyuan Garden closed on every Monday).

5.00We had a wonderful day with Caroline! She is so bright and thoughtful. She could teach any subject and make it so interesting! She has great advice for us too. We saw sights around Shanghai that we would not have seen on our own. Then went to the water town of Zhujiajiao. We had an amazing lunch and got to try so many delicious fresh foods. Had a nice boat ride and then went shopping. It was a great way to spend our last day in Shanghai. I would highly recommend this tour!

5.00Our Shanghai guide, Brenda, showed us around her city with great care. Since this was the last stop of our China tour, we were already quite tired. Thankfully, she was able to adjust our pick-up time which was set an hour later than expected and quickly adjusted it. Without her help, we would have been panicking, but instead we were able to enjoy the day with peace of mind.

5.00Snow was friendly and timely for our collection at the hotel. She was informative throughout the lengthy tour. We went from the Shanghai tower, to the Xu Garden, French Concession, and ended at the Zhujiajiao WaterTown. We walked through each destination at a steady pace, taking stops into account without rushing. It was my second time taking this same tour, and I had new experiences thanks to Snow. I can highly recommend this tour!

5.00This tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Xin spoke English really well and was also very knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited. She pointed out sites as we drove to each of the sites. For Lunch, she picked things she felt like we would enjoy and we did! We also had food restrictions, and she easily accommodated and made sure the food was made correctly. I loved that she knew the best places to buy things! Mr. Dong was the very best driver we have had while we were in Shanghai. We felt very safe and very comfortable in his car. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a taste of Shanghai. It was truly amazing and very well run!

5.00This private day tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Shanghai. The itinerary was well planned and the transportation was very comfortable. Zhujiajiao Water Town is absolutely charming with its old bridges, canals, and traditional houses. It felt like stepping back in time. After that, exploring the modern side of Shanghai was also very exciting. Our guide was professional, friendly, and spoke excellent English. They shared interesting stories about the city and made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants a perfect combination of history, culture, and modern city life.

5.00Our tour had planned activities, but we went to a couple of the locations earlier on our own and so we asked Caroline if we could change up the plan for the day. Caroline was so accommodating and quickly changed our tour itinerary in order to take us to all the places we wanted to see. Caroline was so knowledgeable & it was very interesting to hear local stories and cultural beliefs at every location as well as what life is like for a mom living in Shanghai.
