The most beautiful tour I have ever been on. The guide was knowledgeable & personable. Meeting at the bus station made it easy for all the tours I participated in while in Switzerland

A nice day trip which allowed us to see some very stunning place. Be prepared to pay extra to get to the top of the mountain in Grindelwald (70chf per person). It would have been nicer to have a bit more time in Lauterbrunnen as 40 minutes is not enough. One hour in Interlaken is okay.

The only great things about this trip were the views and the locations we went to. At our first stop, we were told to check out the waterfall and be back in an hour. Not much of a guide at all at the locations since she never led us anywhere, unless it was one specific place that she was trying to sell extra tickets to. When we found the stairs to go up to the waterfall, there was a long, very slow line where we waited forever until eventually we had to turn back before we got to see the top otherwise we would be late to the bus. The guide had made it clear they don't wait for people. Also, apparently even though you aren't assigned seats when you first get on the bus, the first seat you take, automatically becomes your seat for the rest of the trip. My friend and I came back after the first stop and sat closer to the back thinking we'd make more room for others, when 2 girls came in and complained to the guide who then told us to all go back to our seat we sat in on the first time, but if that mattered so much, they should've actually assigned us seats in the first place. Also, they will give you a sticker to remember your bus and so they "can make sure you belong here" and yet they don't check them. And they won't tell you until halfway through the trip that you need to keep it on your shirt. My friend put hers on her bag because it fell off her shirt and the guide scolded her for having it there and then physically put a new one on my friend after saying "ive been doing this a long time, it will not fall off" as it proceeded to fall off by the next stop. The stickers are pointless anyway since they don't even check them at the door, only while driving asking if anyone needs a new one (which shows they fall off unlike she says). Also beware, they will give you a pamphlet of things to do in the towns and say you can buy the tickets from the guide but they will only push you to do one of them because apparently they only have tickets for that one thing, you have to buy tickets for everything else at the locations. Also, she will tell you at the beginning of the tour that if someone doesn't speak that main language, you need to translate and help those people out. Even though that is literally the tour guides job since they are the ones who know the different languages. Altogether, the mountains were cool, but the experience on the bus was not.

I am so happy I booked this day trip, it was amazing. You get plenty of time for each town. The trip was perfect. They are very punctual so that’s something to pay attention to. I would definitely book another trip like this when I go back to Switzerland. I loved everything about it.

I had a good experience on this tour. Very worth it for the mountain (Mt First), and was the highlight of the trip, however it is an extra 60 chf to ascend it on the cable car which I think should’ve been included in the price. The views along the way are beautiful, and we had brilliant weather the whole day which really amplified it. The first stop in Lauterbrunnen I think was too short (1hr 15), it is just enough time to walk to the main waterfall, grab a coffee, and walk back. You do not get to explore much there. Our senior tour guide told us we could buy water from the driver (Antonio), we did not know if it was card/cash and when was told it was cash we were reprimanded for not bringing cash on the journey. This was the only time we needed it, the rest of the stops accepted card. I felt ridiculed in front of the group for this, and thought it was unprofessional of her to have an attitude with us. We arrived in Grindewald where I opted for the cable car to Mt First, this was our ONLY activity available to us as the rest of the activities were closed! Would’ve been nice to have been told this earlier. And again have a price included in this as this was an already expensive trip. For the cable car journey I went alone and my mum stayed on the ground due to her height phobia. Before getting the tickets, I queued to go to the toilet which took some time, when I got out I was abandoned by the group with no sight of the tour guide. I ran around to different entry points, very anxious! and then eventually found her just as she was getting on the cable car just to be told to go back to the ticket booth to get my ticket. I again felt ridiculed as I was alone and had to ascend the cable car with strangers. At the top of the mountain she was nowhere to be seen neither the group, and I was left to explore the mountain alone. I would’ve appreciated her telling me where she would be at the top, or sticking behind so I could go with her up the cable car, but I was alone in the whole process and felt very anxious at times. In interlaken, again this was a very beautiful area, but there was little to do there (unless you have a lot of money for the designer shops) and again not a lot of time (1hr 30). I appreciated being given a discount for some of the shops there, but we ended up enjoying an iced tea with the view of the mountains instead. Overall a really nice day out and worth going for the views, but our tour guide did dampen the experience and I am not happy with my experience with her in Grindewald. Would’ve been nice to have been told about the activities that were closed beforehand and include the cable car in the pricing(?)
