Railway main station Zurich & ShopVille
Zurich station is the largest railway station in Switzerland. It is an important railway junction for Switzerland, but also for Italy, France, Austria and Germany. It is located in the heart of the city. It is one of the oldest stations in Switzerland. In the station is its ShopVille shopping center with its 190 shops and restaurants open 365 days a year, from early morning to late evening. Even on Sundays when the shops in town are closed. The Zürich Tourist Office is also located in the station.

2.00The actual tour started at 12:30 even though the tour stated it started at 10:00am. At 10:00 am, we got on a bus that took us around Zurich for an hour and then dropped us off at 11:00am and told us to wait for the next bus for our tour! First of all, we did not want a tour of Zürich. We wanted what we paid for and should have started at 10 as it was advertised. The 12:30 tour bus arrived, we travelled to Appenzell and were on a tight schedule. The drive through the countryside was fast and furious and taking the mountain curves could have been more enjoyable if not having to rush instead of taking curves at a high speed. If we had left at 10:00, gone to the very enjoyable places we were promised, we would have gotten back before 7:00pm and enjoyed the scenery instead of being rushed. We did have time at the cheese and chocolate places but the drive was miserable. Felt cheated of the experience to enjoy the countryside! Both bus drivers were nice and congenial and good drivers! But, the experience was not worth it for us! A day lost!

4.00Morning open top bus was quite good. It took 55 minutes and was sufficiently extensive. The starting point was as instructed. We asked the driver where the next bus was leaving from, as the instructions were incomplete in this regard (no time, no place). On the map there was a place 2 in a completely different part of the city, maybe it was referring to the city tour, I don't know. The driver said the same place as morning and in about an hour, a small white bus. This was true. If the city tour had started at 11:00 we would have had plenty of time to catch this bus then too - it's worth considering changing the schedule - because the afternoon trip started at 12:30. A wait of more than an hour is too long, especially if there is uncertainty. The afternoon tour to the chocolate factory, cheese factory and village was really nice. We were the only participants on the tour. The driver was really nice and knowledgeable. The best part of the day. Both the cheese factory and especially the chocolate factory are very suitable for children. Village was really beautiful.

4.00Only issue that we had was that after the city tour we had no In formation as to departure time for cheese and chocolate tour and waited 1 1/2 hrs for bus. Both parts of these tours were interesting and our guides were great

4.00You can save money by combining the Zurich tour with the chocolate and cheese experience. However, we had to reach out to the bus driver in the red Swiss sightseeing bus to understand how to catch the second part of the tour which was in a short white keytours bus. The cheese/chocolate tour was great.

1.00The logistics of the tour are poorly planned we had less than 45 minutes to see the cheese factory. We had nothing of guidance as the very friendly person who took us knew nothing of where we were. No explanation was given.

1.00In Zürich for two days and booked this tour through GetYourGuide paid $246.38 for this tour. It does say it’s a self guided tour however, we did not know there was multiple tours on the same bus therefore we got off at the wrong stop and missed going to the chocolate and cheese factory as well as the countryside. The announcement on the bus was a recording and it said you can get off here for the boat ride or you can stay on the bus and go back to the bus stop. It did not state that we should stay on if we were going somewhere else. We did ask the driver at the beginning of the tour if we were on the right bus and he said yes. During the trip, he was no help. If you asked questions he acted as he hated his job. Was really looking forward to this tour. Very upset about the whole thing.

5.00Thanasis was a delightful, entertaining and obliging guide for our chocolate and cheese tour. He made the day engaging and memorable for us. The tour was well organised and there was a good balance between the travel time on the bus and time to visit the sites. Would highly recommend Swiss tours!

2.00The tour guide did not even talk to us about anything we were seeing. He spent all his time LOUDLY talking to the bus driver. I have actually taken this tour before with Viatour and it was great. That tour guide imparted so much information to us as we road through the countryside. The tour guide on this tour did nothing!!!!! We went to Appensell and he never once said why it was important to go there. He did not give us ANY INFORMATION.

4.00First of all, TripAdvisor has this built terribly. The city tour starts at 11:30 am and the cheese and chocolate tour is at 1:30 pm. When booking, the website only gave me the option of 1:30pm tour start, so when my group arrived at 1:30 pm we found out we had already missed part of our tour. Thankfully, the staff at KeyTours-Swiss Tours was amazing and arranged for us to have our city tour the next day. Tripadvisor needs to fix how the booking is built as accommodations like my group received may not be possible at a busier time of year.

5.00Great trip with a lot to see! It is an all day event so plan accordingly. Lunch and dinner is not included. We did this on a Sunday where the shops were closed in the town.
