Visit the Galle which is the capital city of the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The town has a World Heritage Site to its name and that is predominantly responsible for its popularity with tourists. This is the 300-year-old Dutch Fort, but there are other historical buildings to view as well.

3.00While the tour sounded good, our guide gave us almost no information about where we were and its importance. While it was a very hot day and made it hard to do things he did not give us information unless we questioned him. He seemed like a nice guy just unprepared to lead a tour. Description was more or less right, we did not receive any local fruit or juice which would have been appreciated. Lunch was our cost, which we knew, but rather pricey and we were not asked if we wanted to stop. He tried to add on a boat tour, we declined and a stop to see turtles, while interesting, really not worth the 10 dollars extra and then they wanted an additional donation.

5.00We had a tour with guide Aaron and he did a excellent job at explaining things and taking us to the places we wanted to see. I highly recommend Aaron for a tour.
