This tour takes you over the beautiful area of Lakagígar, a crater chain that created in 1783 by one of the largest volcanic eruptions in recorded history. From there we fly over Landmannalaugar, the beautiful valley between the mountains,before returning to Skaftafell. On this tour passangers will see glaciers, volcanoes and the beautiful landscape north of Mýrdalsjökull glacier.

We will pick you up from the port in Djúpivogur. Then, we will head to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Jökulsárlón is a large glacial lake on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park. Floating on the lagoon are enormous icebergs, moving with the waves towards the river mouth. The white and blue icebergs give off a calming crackling sound as they float around in the lagoon. You will go on an amphibian boat tour to get close to the ice bergs. You will have plenty of time to take in the views from shore as well. Add some sparkles to your day at the Diamond Black Sand Beach. As the day comes to an end, we will drop you off at the port in Djúpivogur.
