As we leave the village behind, we’ll head uphill through peaceful countryside, passing rolling hills, traditional stone cottages, and perhaps a few grazing sheep that add to the area’s charm. Our route leads to Broadway Tower, a striking local landmark. But before we explore it, we’ll pause for a traditional cream tea—fresh scones, clotted cream, jam, and a warm cup of tea—while taking in the breathtaking views around us. Refreshed, we’ll continue with a self-guided tour of the Tower. Using either a printed or multimedia guide, you’ll learn about its history and enjoy sweeping panoramic views from the top. At 312 meters above sea level, it offers one of the best vantage points in the Cotswolds. With a bit of luck, we might even spot red deer roaming nearby. After taking in the sights, we’ll head back down to Broadway, wrapping up this lovely countryside adventure.
