On this scenic tour you will visit the magnificent Kluane National Park, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. We'll explore the scenic Kathleen Lake and enjoy a short hike at the Rock Glacier which bursts a magnificent view across lakes and mountains surrounding Kluane National Park. In Haines Junction we will visit the Da Kų Cultural Centre to learn more about the rich history of Kluane National Park, which is home to the largest non-polar ice field.

Great adventure in Kluane National Park

5.00We were in Yukon for five days and it's the best adventure I could have had. Especially the Kluane Day Tour with Artic Range Adventur where we saw wonderful landscapes, in the company of María Alejandra, the best guide that could have touched us and in Spanish not to battle with the language.

1.00Beware!!! The company haf set a photo of a glacier, as the main photo of the tour, to which they never, NEVER, even intended to take us!! This is caled MANIPULATIVE SCAM! We've seen 1 lake, anither half lake because the vision was blocked by trees, made a 30 minute walk near a mountain. Overpriced boring tour! The guide Mariko was nice, but the tour itself don't worth even half of the price!

4.00We were picked up exactly on time in a clean, comfortable and modern bus/van and taken out to the sites described. Our guide was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. We made many rest break stops which was appreciated as it is a long day. The hike up the rock glacier was tricky after the boardwalk ended, getting steeper and involving some stepping stones. Not for the mobility challenged. My one disappointment was that this tour shows a picture of the glacier and you do not get to see it which is really misleading. A bag lunch ( sandwich, water, apple, granola bar) was provided.
