Two large rivers flow through the park and are home to about 32 species of mammals, 125 species of birds, along with many reptiles and lagoon fauna species. A great way to see lots of Sri Lanka in a short space of time. Comfortable vehicle, ease of communication directly was great and very flexible. Our driver, Markas, was friendly, patient, helpful and knowledgeable- nothing was too much trouble. He went out of his way to make all the things we wanted to happen, happen. I would strongly recommend Drivers in Sri Lanka, especially if you get Markas as your driver!

From the moment I contacted drivers in Sri Lanka I knew I had made the right choice of tour company. They were responsive and helpful, happy to make changes to the itinerary and leave it flexible so we could pick and choose activities as we travelled. Corresponding via WhatsApp made the process very simple and there was very good communication throughout the preparation and during our trip. They were able to rebook our trip at very short notice when the war in Iran caused issues with our flights. We were met at the airport by Markas, who adorned us with flower garlands and made us feel at ease immediately. For the next ten days as we travelled down the west and south coast, up to Yala, on to the hill country and finishing at sigiriya Markas provided an excellent tour. He made sure we tried traditional food, drinks and snacks, avoided the tourist traps and always made sure we were safe and had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble - even ensuring that things left behind at a hotel were couriered to catch up with us at a later stop. I would highly recommend using Drivers in Sri Lanka and am already planning my next trip. Make sure you ask for Markas as your driver.

From my initial contact with Drivers in Sri Lanka to the very end the service has been fantastic. Communicating via WhatsApp made planning the trip very simple and easy. They were great at making adjustments to the itinerary and were happy to keep it flexible so we could do as much or as little as we liked each day. They were responsive and helpful - even rebooking our trip just two weeks before we arrived because of the problems with travelling due to the war in Iran. As we travelled to Sri Lanka we were able to message Drivers in Sri Lanka which was very reassuring. We were met at the airport by Markas, who adorned us with flower garlands and made us feel at ease and relaxed immediately. Our journey down the west and south coast, up to Yala and then the hill country and finishing in sigiriya was unforgettable. If we mentioned needing anything Markas would immediately find what we wanted and solve any issues. He made sure that we tried authentic local food and snacks - even testing out the jaggery palm treacle at a number of stalls before finding the perfect one. Markas was an excellent tour guide. His driving was fantastic - the roads and traffic are crazy - and we felt safe at all times. I would thoroughly recommend using Drivers in Sri Lanka and am already planning a return trip with Markas as our tour guide.

We rescheduled one of the tours a bit and were supported with tips from the company. Pick-up was easy. We had two different drivers, both were very nice and tried to give us a nice time. Both drove us safely and we felt comfortable. At the second pickup, the desired child seat was forgotten, but then the next day was provided. We can recommend the company!
